Jim's character, like all of the ones in this series, is so smoothly and flawlessly written and developed that the viewer becomes enamored the minute he steps on screen -- or runs into a sliding door. It's a testament to Artie's writing (and directing) and Drew's acting that the viewer is so immediately drawn into the utter chaos and hilarity that is Jim's world.
