I live in a very utilitarian and 'modern' part of town and I discovered this place by accident yesterday and I LOVED every second of it. A lot of great restaurants with very good prices compared to the rest of the city! I recommend it.

I was told Cannstatt was 'very brown' during the war. There's a spot on König-Karl Strasse where a synagogue had been burned on Kristallnacht.
