Right, because even though he would’ve had to hit his tee shot one handed and wouldn’t have had the same tee shot he did, the worst he could do is hit the worst and everyone uses his anyway so no loss. Whereas if he hit it better then just 1 of the other 3 he’d be able to have a better second shot
