You can also take your knife and very gently spread the tabs so that you get a tight connection, doesn’t take much at all

Alright I'll give that a try sometime

And close the tabs on the pig tail, most don’t know that either. That being said I have never cleaned a socket with a knife, they make this spray can crap called electric parts cleaner. Works perfectly for the job.
@antoniohardy74163 ай бұрын
You can’t do that here because the pins aren’t separated

@@My_Balls615 What do you mean by close the tabs on the pigtail?? I'm confused how do you do that?
@My_Balls6152 ай бұрын
@@sebastienporsenna8616 on the pig tail, your green cable you hook up to the trailer. Look into the holes, you will see a offset on them, take a small screw driver into hole and close the gap, not to far as you would not be able to plug it into the trailer. 99% of the time it works very well. This fixes the light flashing or not working on the trailer. A lot cheaper and easier than replacing pig tail. Never ever spray or put something inside the socket of the trailer. WD-40 can catch on fire from sparks inside the closed socket of the trailer.

I replaced a bad fuze. This allowed my trailer lights to cone on q my headlights in park. My problem is each blinker is making the trailer lights blink together as if my hazards are on. Brake lights work fine.
