Wow ... in one moment the truck driver has situational awareness and stops for the tram, and half a minute later down the road he completly messes up my first impression of him by making the turn in front of the ambulance

Yes he really messed that up by continuing driving 🙈 but I somewhat understand that it was a bit hard to tell where the ambulance was going, but he should have just waited to see

The ambulanse should have use the right blinker... and I can understand the truck driver: what are the chances that the ambulance will drive into the pavement.. and yes, all traffic should just stop and wait.

@Zerotaxi1984 the chance is 50:50 ... an emergency can be anywhere ... and when I go straight I don't use my right turn signal

@@EnjoyFirefighting its the emergency drivers duty to show people where the vehicle is driving to, by placing the vehicle in the right place, using the correct speed and use blinkers. I have the emergency driving license, and that's the first thing you learn.... otherwise the other drivers will not understand what you want, and there will be chaos. Just think as the truck driver, the normal thinking is that the ambulance follow the road... If the ambulance need to deviate, then it has to show it by placing in the right place on the road, down with speed, use blinker to tell where they want to drive.. but speed is the main key here.. the ambulance was to aggressive and should have slowed even more and wait to see what the truck was going to do before engaging to the pavement..

"Annoying thing in Oslo: watch out for electric cars in the bus lane". hahah that one made me laugh out loud. Is this not as common in other countries perhaps? It's one of the EV incentives in Norway and has been working quite well. As the number of EVs rise they'll probably be banned again, though.

Haha yes I'm not used to it from sweden at least. But I think norway is pretty unique when it comes to that. Norway has really succeded with all the incentives to make so many people buy EVs

@@DashcamStockholm From watching the chaos of England's roads, "Annoying" Oslo looks like some hyper-antidystopian paradise. There is even an ambulance attending to a sick person in one shot. Don't see them any more in England!

The annoying thing wasn't necessarily that there was an EV in the bus lane. It's the fact that the bus lane ends and turns into a right turn lane just before the intersection. The EV driver should have changed lanes to the left lane to continue on straight like that. But you know, like a douchebag, they didn't wanna wait behind the rest of the traffic.

Why so offended? 😂 as you can see i did let him in, even though it was a jerk thing to do. I had to break pretty hard so i came pretty close. One of the most basic rules is not to unnessesarily hinder other traffic, hopefully with that attitude you are not a driver

As a tourist I have driven through many of the junctions shown in this video, locals know how to use them , its the road markings thats the problem. Also their is no requirement to indicate before entering a roundabout , only on exit !

In Germany we joke, If you fail the drivers licence 10x then you get the yellow car plates from Netherland. But when i went for the first time to Oslo, and then from Oslo-Bergen, then you know the Netherlands drivers are Pros in compare to Norways. I am really glad there not so many norwegians with Car in germany, Bavaria, otherweise it would be really dangerous, how they drive!
