Agreed, not with losing their job, wouldnt wish that on anyone, but not the best way to handle getting flashed, especially as you said being a pro driver. Cam car needs a kick in the nuts too though for flashing the bus, perhaps they were trying to read the Give way sign in the top right...

Dash cam driver didn't provide us film before the bus moved away from the bus stop to see if indicator was used or not. at the end of the day bus had right of way

7:33 In QLD we are required to give way to a bus entering the flow of traffic. the Bus has right of way. Can't see if he indicated first...seems to be cut out. Quite inappropriate to flash the bus.

Hi to clarify this one for you so the bus driver was not pulling out of the bus stop but coming out of the side road onto the main road and as such the give way rule for buses does not apply and the bus must give way to traffic as per normal road rules It’s not clear exactly what happened after I haven’t had clarification from the submitter as to if the bus driver reacted to the dash cam driver and braked on them and then put it in reverse or if the bus driver had actually just stopped and was trying to reverse back into the side road in any event traffic violations were committed by the bus driver :)

Ah so the spider story… relocated a HUGE huntsman spider from the house to the shed. Placed her next to the only window which always has moths or flies sitting on it trying to get out. Easy feed for the spider. She’ll just sit there and go gobble gobble. Have seen a few baby huntsman spiders in the shed since so hope she is doing well 😊

It is a request not a law. Buses must follow the same rules as everyone else.

@@davidselby-smith5982 It is the same basic law across Australia: if the bus has the Give Way to Buses sign AND the bus is pulling out from a bus stop AND the bus is signalling right - then you MUST give way. In this case, it's hard to tell whether the bus signalled as the video doesn't show the lead-up. What then followed was stupidity on the part of both drivers.

Hi Jane fyi they were not complaining about the driver parking the disabled spot , they were pointing out the fact that they illegally spotted on a crossing and blocked traffic to allow the passenger out then parked in a disabled spot 10 meters away , so the illegal act was point less

No. Right hand lane is an overtaking lane. You must only be in the right hand lane to overtake above 70 or 80klm.

People have always driven as they please "we all do", the issue is there are very few police on our roads, i have not seen motor cycle cops for years, this Victorian government has lost touch with road safety to revenue raise with red light and trailer cameras and mobile speed cameras that are placed in high probability areas, changing lanes without indicating has now become a petty issue, turning without indicating is a petty issue, speeding in unpoliced areas is rife as everyone knows they will not be caught, everyone knows the road rules but if it does not suit they ignore them, round abouts, slip road give way signs, merge with care signs, no U turn signs, and many more, we all see it every day and accept is as the normal driver behavior so why not do the same?

4:10 This will probably spark lots of disagreement. But can't say I agree with the "I see people doing the wrong thing so I force them into doing what's right" Yes they turned into a 1 way road, yes they'll probably keep going if wasn't for DC and yes it's dangerous for them to keep going so it's best to prevent that from happening. But I don't consider the action of forcing inexperienced driver to reverse back to a busy road in a un-intended way where it's harder for them to observe the traffic a safe thing either. If we do care about making bad driver into doing the right thing then we should've also taken that extra step to consider what's the safest and easiest option for them. In this case would've been to roll over the window and ask them to do a three-point-turn instead and exit back to the road the SAFE way.

5:40 - Oi - that's Durham Street (or The Great Western Highway) so most likely the offending 4WD driver is some f**ck knuckle from Sydney who's driven non-stop to Bathurst (about 3 hours) and is approaching zombie status. Bathurst drivers are exceptional 😉.

hi Deborah no The dash cam drivers pointing out the driver in the right lane who is failing to keep left unless overtaking but that rule only applies to the right lane on certain roads does not apply to the middle lane Drivers on meant to drive in the middle lane that’s why they are put there. Why would you think there is an issue with what they’re doing ? :)
