Bad Driving in Brampton on Bovaird

Don't mind the time /date on the dash cam, it has to be reset. This is from July 31st around 3pm from Georgetown to Brampton.
Just another day in Brampton, Ontario. Bad drivers on dry roads, even worse drivers on wet roads. This is just a snippet of a typical day.

U - turns and turning right on red are legal unless there is a sign that says you can't. I personally never do a u - turn on a busy road or with someone turning left behind me or someone turning right where the Pilot was but it's not illegal.

it's not illegal, but with them both doing it at the same time and missing each other by inches, it certainly makes for good Brampton entertainment. Sometimes I just videotape intersections since I know that someone is going to get into an accident.

Driver's education should be mandatory. People need to understand the rules of the roads and evasive maneuvers before they drive. If you dont know how to drive, then you shouldn't be driving.

I also think that re-taking the drivers road test every 5 years should be mandatory. That will keep people who have acquired bad driving habits off the road and hopefully lower insurance rates.

Nabeel Rajput. There was a time the drive test center was just passing people with out even a test. The center was out sourced to private company and they passed so many people that there was not enough hours in the day for the amount they passed.

good video but two things 1) the honda pilot turning right on a red did nothing wrong. You can turn on red as long as you come to a full stop unless otherwise stated at the intersection. 2) the civic in the same clip making a u-turn is also legal unless otherwise stated or if at a rail way crossing or road where on coming traffic cannot see you. I live in this area and that intersection does not have either sign for those things.

Resolution Dr. near Steeles is pretty bad. People go back and forth between Lowe's and Walmart as their driveways are lined up, so they just dart straight across in their cars without even looking! I drive on Resolution Dr. every day to get to work, and I've had to hit the brakes a few times to avoid T-boning cars that are cutting across.

Yes. You can turn right on a red if there isn’t a sign. But you need to stop first.

Hey Mike, Great clip! I hate brampton drivers these days... gotten a lot worse. By the way, I recently began fiddling with a dash cam as well. What dash cam are you using? I love the quality. I had gotten fed up with mine and switched to a Go Pro but that doesn't have a time/date stamp unfortunately. Check mine out and you be the judge!

If you have ever driven in grater London UK... You will understand how traffic road sys should be. This grid sys we use is with left turn facing head on collision and waiting at a light with no traffic is the worst!

Driving through 410 is the worst experience ever. Just this morning the guy in front of me had the hood latch come off his beater BMW. MEANING HE CANT SEE ON A LIVE HIGHWAY LANE. I stopped with my blinkers on. Serious situation. Could have been a serious accident. Anywhere else, the cars in the other lanes would stop to let this guy safely go to the shoulder. But no, not in Brampton. Everyone kept zipping by. I just hate this highway. I am glad I only have to drive here only once or twice in a year. Drivers are straight from the pind/hood and pay zero regard to public safety.
