Good video. I think this game gets a bad rep but I really like it. I enjoyed the NES version as a kid (though I recognize it stinks now) but the arcade version is just great. Simple and fun. I have most of the first 6 levels or so worked out pretty well but that boss rush at the end always whips me and it just ends up being how many "quarters" does it take to finish. I know Splatterhouse is made by Namco but I kind of look at that as the next step. Still a simple beat em up but one that incorporates horror and gore and these are easily my two most played games on Antstream Arcade.

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! Yes that boss rush definitely starts eating through the credits! There is some enjoyment to be had from the NES version but it is really difficult to go back and play thesedays.
