BAD EARTH OR BAD BULBS?

Oh I hate it when clips just refuse to transfer over into the editing software. My actioncam is the one that occasionally does that. What often works is right click on that file (clip), click on 'encode' and then select H.264 1080p. It takes a few seconds after you click on encode to come up. It takes a moment to do it then, if you've got your clips sorted by date and time (I do because I use clips form multiple cameras), then it appears at the bottom of your project folder. It seems to start as two and then a few seconds later merges into one. If it only does the video and not audio, do it again but select 'audio only' and then pop that underneath the video only one on the time line. All that said, with my most recent one, it just wouldn't do it!! Very annoying. Good luck.

Update - that file that wouldn’t encode eventually did. It was a 9 minute clip in 4k so took ages!
