Very cool. Bad Homburg is always easy to reach via Frankfurt using the S-Bahn (line S5). In Frankfurt main station, just about the height of the pharmacy sign (inside the station), you first go down one level using the escalator. You can get your ticket there. Then take the next escalator one level lower and keep to the right, i.e. when you get to the bottom, you can take the S-Bahn on the right that has 'Friedrichsdorf' as its final stop to Bad Homburg, the station that is two stops before.

Wealth means everything is expensive, the rental costs are so high, normal people (except the 2% rich ones) leave the city, we haven't had a propper cinema for years and the water pipes beneath our beautifil park are so old, in summer time it smells like wastewater everywhere. Don't get me wrong, i do live there and i love it. But you definitely don't experience a lot of wealth here. Wealth is where the "people" are wealthy! All of them and not only a few percent! Last words: Thank you HQ Hands, very nice made.

Also the 2 % leave that town or aren´t most of the time not there. There are no expensive boutiques. You can find not one top jeweler there. I lived also in Bad Homburg. And I liked the city. But it is not a Baden - Baden. And also Baden is not the same anymore. No wealthy guests come to Bad Homburg anymore. Homburg vor der Höhe is not the same spa & congresstown, that it was in the 19th century. In both cities and in Kronberg and Königstein live refugees nowadays, that doesn´t attract wealthy people to come as a guest nor it does inspires them to live permanently there. Bad Homburg ist just "great" and "wealthy" in the image brochures. Other spa towns like Bad Pyrmont or Bad Oeynhausen do much more to attract guests and look much more groomed. And I miss here the Kaiser - Friedrich - Promenade, the most beautiful and important street. And I miss the fountains in the spa gardens, the Kurpark.
