Fun stuff as always - though disappointed to hear Ivan thinks so poorly of the NW WW2 games, since I bought most of them yesterday (along with starport scum to look at for B5) just before listening to this! lol Which naval rules did you settle on btw Ivan? Me and some friends are about to dabble in ww2 naval as a project for next year.

Hah, thanks for buying :) We first tried the old Salvo board game which was not quite what we wanted, but got us hooked. I then picked up Grand Fleets (By MJ12) which is mostly WW1 but does cover WW2 as well. Its definitely more casual but thats exactly what we wanted to get started on. Long term, I think we'd like to play General Quarters / Fleet Action Imminent, at least for smaller actions.
