Due to my contract coming to an end and there being limited jobs in my department I once had to interview for the job I was already doing, with my current manager (someone I consider a friend, more or less) as one of the interviewers. That was a weird experience.

RW:man I remember one interview I had with a group of girls from a clothing store ,then next thing you know they got us going through a initiation ,the employee asked us what would a woman wear for when she goes out (I was thinking to myself if it was the subject term a Date)we all had 5 minutes to pick out the clothings,then when it was over each one of us showed what clothing a woman would wear when she goes out ,but the next thing you know the employee told me that they will call me until further notice,then I was thinking to myself that I felted like I just screwed up in the initiation,a few days went by after and the next thing you know I didn't get the job.😓 I thought this was supposed to be a interview ,not a pick and wear deal,this was at a Forever21 clothing store at the mall at the Chandler Fashion center.

I once applied at a Taco Bell that was still being built. One of the interview questions was that he asked me what's all on the menu. I rarely ever eat at a Taco Bell and this one didn't have its menu up, so I blanked, and he yelled at me for freezing up. I couldn't look him in the eye nor talk right for the rest of the interview. A few years later, I learned that this sort of tactic was a stress test, which they give to employees that will be working in high stress jobs like fast food or retail, and me becoming a stuttering mess in the interview as he yelled at me lost me that job.

Nice video as always. We always have our off days, especially when we try to conform to industry standard for interviews. I know how hard it is to be interviewed, because I learned business at Sixth Form and apparently, there are common questions and those that catch you off guard. My advice for jobseekers: research about the commonly asked questions and answers in job interviews, and prepare yourself as much as you can for those interviews.

I'm so sorry Wolfchu but I was laughing hysterically at 1:20. The way you drew that scene was hilarious :P I haven't had luck with job interviews either. Tried applying to two semiconductor companies a year ago and they interviewed me, but I didnt hear back. The one company gave me a coffee mug and the other company gave me socks with a circuit board pattern on them, but that was the last I ever heard from them. Ah well. Here's hoping the cafe guy gave you a pair of coffee-patterned socks at the least :P

My worst interview wasn't even an interview. I was filling out an application for a local restaurant and at first they asked the standard questions like availability and what have you but after some time they started asking weird questions like how I would respond to certain situations and how I would behave towards certain minorities and they even asked me a question that was in Spanish even though I had already stated that I only know English.
