When you sort out the pump again, i'd seriously consider drilling out the factory hanger terminals and running bulkhead terminals. Mine had that exact issue with the terminals corroding and coming loose.

You should have tony take a flapper disk to the lip on the trailer. It will prob take a couple hours but you should be able to grind that down so that it doesn’t catch your exhaust or anything

Uea I've been there actually. Basically I ended up on the side of the road cuz my car died so i did the old hit the gas tank cuz i couldn't ? the pump prime when i key on and it came on after that. But every time i tried to start it after that i had to hit the gas can till i got a new one to put in. Keep up the good content!.
