Just found your channel, Great Job! I see you haven't posted anything in about a year. Wondering if you are still doing this? If so I have a request. Could you please please do Alvin Lee's "Bluest Blues" from the Pure Blues album. This song was voted to be the greatest blues song ever written. Includes the late great George Harrison on slide. Simply an awesome song. Even if you don't do it you should have a listen. Thanks

Now I see it ! The upper Barred chords are also shifted by 2 frets "up". Thanks for the posting and quick reply. Perhaps the D-tuning should be mentioned in the information section?

What is that last chord position in the main riff? I looks like it should be a D chord but his fingering is like an E position. I know the guitar is tuned to drop D but I'm not getting it. Can someone help? Thanks

it’s not drop D it’s D standard

I am baffled ...the 4th chord is clearly hear as a D but on the video the fingering looks like an E shape ? What am I missing?
@prosonman Жыл бұрын
Guitar is down tuned a whole step as it was in the original song….therefore the E is actually a D. 😀
@deltadawn8266 күн бұрын
The intro matches a 2 fret drop tuning, then the basic melody he is playing 9-11 and finishing on fret 7 is done in std tuning....the tab is 2 frets low if the guitar remains on drop tuning like the early part. Later down the neck hammer-ons don't match either unless done in std tuning and then when he drops to the low D string suddenly it's back to normal. Literally all over the place. I can only think he is using a drop pedal on the parts that match and switching to std tuning for other bits. Nice arrangement but hard to learn from as he's playing 2 different guitars throughout seemingly in different tunings in various parts.

Your tabs match the key (and your playing) but the chords are wrong. They’re a step down. Should be key of E.
@markbrown710329 күн бұрын
The last major in the intro is in the key of E. I don’t know what you’re doing there. You don’t even put the cord at the end of the measure. It makes it hard to understand. The last cord in the intro in the major is E what are you doing there very poorly done.
