In the 60s we called Creedence Clearwater "beer freak" music. In the 70s I made my living playing this beer freak music. In the 80s I remember thinking, "if one more person comes up and asks us to play Proud Mary, I'm gunna...." In the 90s it just didn't matter. My wife said "either quit the band and get a day job or I'm leaving." I really miss her. By about 2010 or so, rock and roll had died. Today I give just about anything for some of that beer freak music. 😢

I’ll say it again in October 2024 ,they left out the best centerfielder of his time Mickey Mantle .He was faster then Willie Mays and hit with more power . He made twelve World Series appearances, won the Triple Crown in 1956 , hit .353 , 52 home runs , and 130 RBIs . He is the only player in the history of MLB to hit 150 home runs from either side of the plate . I forgot one other stat , he was a three time MVP .
