I had to sacrifice a building to lure in all the enemies into a choke point for my pikes and bows along with it a platoon size (the ring perk) elite shields. Btw everyone was elite lol. Tactics 100

Thing is; what you need is experience. Train with the level repeat optipn to learn how to deal with the larger assaults and how to have success with different combos.
