The funny thing is Noah said in an interview that they wrote this song just to prove how easy it is to write a radio rock song lol. Ironically it's the song that ended up all over tiktok and blew them up

And ended up number one in the rock charts for more than 24 weeks.

That’s not really irony when he stated how easy it is. That was by design and good on them.

I saw Ban Omens "by accident;" they opened for another band I went to see but they stole the bloody show mate. I have been wanting to see them live again ever since. His voice sounds JSUT like that live. It's mental.

The bassline in this song is insane. This is a force to be reckoned with!

So this video is a masterpiece. I'll give my interpretation of it. The old man is looking at memories of his relationship. Most of the memories are beautiful depictions of two people being in love. But there are instances of it going dark with crazier things like her holding the gun, holding a knife to her fingers, her choking him. These point to the toxic side of a relationship. When the guy with the mask comes up to the bed with the gun, he tries to stop him and ultimately she dies anyway. If you notice, the old guy wakes up instantly after. I think this is like a weight lifted of his shoulders like the vision of what he thought and wanted her to be is finally gone. If you pay attention to the screen at one point it says "organ failure." Then the nurses are panicking trying to save her. My thoughts on this is the "hold" someone can have on someone and he finally let go of her and now she has nothing left. And they're being portrayed as old because they "sucked the life out of each other." Often in relationships, you dwell onto the great memories but ignore the bad.

My favourite off the album, I play it over and over in the car so loud when I’m alone. Im a 63yr old Aussie mum, grew up seeing AC/DC live so many times as a teenager in Melbourne Australia in the mid 70’s with the one and only Bon Scott, and even though im old now, still love me some heavy stuff. I still have my Sabbath Sabotage album from back then as well as Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti!! This album is excellent!! Also love Rammstein and Falling in Reverse! Never too old for great music!
