Istg I hate when people buffing mons sometimes cuz that's a pretty unrealistic buff. Also it just adds more weakness to meganium (and also ruin the monotype dynamic of the original trio) INSTEAD give it either A. Flower Veil B. (My preferred option) Thick Fat As well as give it extra tools such as rage powder, calm mind, earth power, dazzling gleam, maybe meteor beam, and a more reliable recovery move such as recover or strength sap. Few extra utility moves too would be nice such as taunt for example

I've maintained spreading signature moves to mons in need is always a reasonable decision the further away you are from the generation it originated. That being said, I think many physical Electric types should get Togedemaru's Zing Zap, and Luxray would be a great beneficiary of this move.

Break Blast isn't a two turn move. It's simply a negative priority move, burning the opponent if they touch Toucannon.

IMO, Goodra would be a lot more interesting as a water/dragon with poison heal as its replacement ability from a conceptual standpoint. We already have so many bulky poison/x pokemon with regenerator, and there aren't nearly enough poison heal mons out there at the moment. Definitely wish it got some kind of reliable recovery either way, though! EDIT: Also, Goodra already got Toxic back in DLC1, AND it got scald too, so it has some excellent utility moves to work with already from that perspective.

I would love to see Ampharos get buffed especially since it's such a popular Pokemon in the Johto games. Maybe it could get a new ability like Mold Breaker (from Mega Ampharos), Transistor, or even Fluffy. Perhaps Ampharos should also get some kind of coverage move to allow it to hit Ground Types such as Energy Ball. Maybe also Lanturn as well. For how much I've used Lanturn, I never realized how terrible its stats were until very recently. Either Lanturn should invest more into its defensive stats or more into special attack. Because ain't no way this guy only has a Special Attack stat of 76.

All that and you never mentioned Tail Glow, but being slow bulky pure-Electric with 90/85/90 bulk so I would also make it’s 2nd ability Electric Surge (there’s no saving Pincurchin besides Volt Switch or any pivoting move) and Parabolic Charge for some recovery I agree with it getting Energy Ball

Some of my ideas: -Flygon should get Compound Eyes as a Hidden Ability. That would let it be a good user of Dragon Rush. Maybe even give it 10 points in Attack -Ampharos should get Electric Surge and Fluffy (to Replace Plus)

There’s the problem, it’s still competing with Garchomp among many and many physical Ground-types. On the other hand, special Ground-types are a lot more sparse in comparison (Nidos, Gastrodon, Palssosand, Toedscruel, Sandy Shocks, Ursaluna-Bloodmoon, half of which are from Gen 9), so I think increasing Flygon’s Sp. Atk 80 > 100 would do greater good than a higher speed tier. Still could use a new ability or two like Sand Rush, Tinted Lens or as you suggested Compound Eyes.

I like the Meganium love, but I feel like just slapping Triage and Fairy typing on Meganium is such a common concept that it just isn’t appealing. I’d much rather see something like Thick Fat (for removing some of those awful weaknesses) or Flower Veil (so a FV Pokémon can actually benefit from the status & stat reduction itself without Terastalization), especially the latter with how common Tera Grass is in Doubles right now. Also, no Spore, that’s strictly a mushroom move and we’re trying to make Meganium *good*, not *busted*. I’d personally like to see it stay mono-Grass (since the other Johto starters are, keep it consistent), give it Flower Veil and give up some Speed to buff its HP, then give it Earth Power and Strength Sap to hit Fires and Steels and shut down Physical attackers respectively. It probably would be niche at best in OU, but it’d at least be good in tiers like RU or even UU, and those tiers deserve a little something as well.

Let me put my attention in mons that are returning in the upcoming DLC that comes out in less than a week from now (sorry Wigglytuff and Ampharos, not much I can do here until next gen). Meganium - basically most of what you suggested minus the Grass/Fairy typing which I don’t see any new typing additions happening more on that later, Spore which it doesn’t have Slee Powder either, and to an lesser extent the stat overhaul as 80/100/100 bulk can work just increase the Sp. Atk (80 > 90) Sceptile - Either fully commit to it being a Sp. Atk with an actual movepool for once or just switch 85 Atk with its 105 Sp. Atk stats, the choice is yours Flygon - Increase the Sp. Atk (80 > 100), give it Sand Rush and either Tinted Lens or Compound Eyes. There’s too many physical Ground-types for it to compete with (Garchomp, Lando-T, Great Tusk, Gliscor, Excadrill among many others) so being one of the rare special Ground-types should give room to breathe. Rampardos - Give it Accelerock (and to a lesser extent Ice Punch), and switch 20 points of the Sp. Atk and Spe stats (65 > 45 Sp. Atk, 58 > 78 Spe) Electivire - Actual STAB, set-up in the form of Bulk Up, increased movepool in Close Combat, Drain Punch, Mach Punch, and Knock Off, Iron Fist for increased damage output, and maybe a speed increase (if Ursaluna and Kingambit can have 550 BST, so should that) Magmortar - Mega Launcher and along with it Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, make Mega Launcher boost cannon moves like Armor Cannon, and again maybe more spe Golurk - It needs actual bulk as 89/80/80 doesn’t cut it. Either increase the defenses (89/110/90 or 89/100/100), increase the HP (119/80/80 or 109/90/80) or at the very least an in-between (99/90/90), and also give it Shift Gear. Also I would like to get this out of my chest, no matter how many people beg for Grass/Fairy Meganium, Electric/Fighting Electivire, Ghost/Fairy Mismagius and the like GF never gives them a new typing unless it’s the new type (Steel in gen 2 and Fairy in gen 6), just being realistic here.

Wigglytuff needs hella buffs, I say take away 10 stats in attack and funnel that into special attack for 65 atk and 95 sp. a and give Wigglytuff an additional 24 points to both defenses for 69 def and 74 sp. d so that it can match Clefable in both special attack and base stat total For another parallel to Clefable, I think giving Wigglytuff the other magic ability magic bounce would be fun also it’d work in lore considering Wigglytuff is very elastic and bouncy. Also an instant recovery move like slack off would be nice, with this I could see it being aight in like maybe RU, possibly UU?? Probably not OU but better than it’s untiered status

Compared to Clefable’s 483 iirc, Wigglytuff’s BST is so low at 435 and before it’s Sp. Atk buff in gen 6, 425 BST And it’s Def is so laughably bad at 45 that just giving it Fur Coat would make a world of a difference, then I can naturally buff it’s not much better Sp. Def (50 > 75) and buff its Sp. Atk again (85 > 95) after that

A Water and Dragon type Goodra with Poison Heal, Toxic Orb, Recover and a Redistribuition in the Stats also sounds alot menacing Dragon/Water typing is one of those good typings that nobody thinks of, it's only weak to Dragon and Fairy, quad-weak only to Freeze-Dry. Just imagine a Poison Heal Goodra tanking hits and recovering while setup with Calm Mind, to sweep with moves like Draco Meteor, Hydro Pump or Surf, Sludge Bomb, etc., or Dragon Dance, using moves like EQ, Wave Crash or Liquidation, Heavy Slam, etc. Or maybe a Defensive set with Poison Heal+Toxic Orb, Recover, Toxic, Dragon Tail and Protect or other move maybe EQ, Scald, Flip Turn, Acid Armor+Body Press instead of Toxic and Dragon Tail could work too, but to me sounds not so good. Maybe if Goodra gets Wish instead of Recovery making it a Wish support mon for the team while also recovering HP from Poison Heal And I know, that would prob make Goodra feel a like second Gliscor, but without Spikes, SR and Uturn, which is far better than Flip Turn, would be a more Ofensive and Defensive oriented Gliscor instead of a Support mon with hazards. Ps: If I remember correctly, in Pokémon Inclement Emerald they did something like I described to buff Goodra, and I remember it being a good mon in the Rom Hack

I'm not fond of giving Meganium Triage. Its not becaus I think its bas, but I much prefer Pokémon to have roles of their own and not fall into something that already exists just so it can do it better. I think that making Meganium an outright bulky attacker with lowered physical stats and an ability like Solar Power would be far more interesting even if it doesn't make it more viable, because that's something unique to Meganium and not a fix clearly inspired by the success of another Pokémon

I feel like Luxray's speed is too pushed unless you're just min-maxing to force it to be OU viable. Game design-wise, I can't buy into Luxray ever being faster than a Charizard AKA the 100 speed base bar. It's more like 90 speed IMO if buffed. Making Original Goodra into Glowking+ sounds awful. Either some different ability than cookie cutter regen or a different typing than poison. Like you can justify water as it's goo is from being "wet". Or honestly just keep it pure DGN and give it regen Meganium being Grass/Fairy is pretty good and makes sense. However Triage just makes it Comfey+. Give it an ability that can boost its tanking like Thick Fat to help replace Mega-Venusaur. Or maybe Magic Bounce so ppl can use something besides Hatterne for that role.

The Goodra rework almost feels redundant to me because of Hisuian Goodra. It fixed the originals poor Defense by sacrificing a bit of HP and Speed and gave it the amazing Steel typing we all know works well. That WAS the rework. I can understand shifting a few stats like all regional variants do, but a total stat rework would require a change to its regional variants too. So, going by the rework's logic, Hisuian Goodra would still have 80 HP and it would be even slower at 50 Speed, but its Defense would be 130. First, seeing as Hisuian Goodra is already stupidly bulky, that seems a little overkill i wont lie. But now its SpDef is suffering, which is Goodras main thing, having SpDef high enough to eat Moonblasts for breakfast. Second, that would make the existence of Hisuian Goodra completely redundant. Id think a better way to rearrange its stats would be to take away from its Attack and put it into its Speed to match the "fast offensive Poison Type" you prompted. As someone whos been making stats for almost 80 new Pokemon now, ive found that buffing something without adding stats often results in taking away from the lesser-used stats instead of a total rework. I also think that what you actually stated for an ability would work way better is Poison Heal, though it should probably be Water type instead of Poison because 1. Posion doesnt make much sense for the specific slug its based on and 2. it would allow for Poison Heal to actually work. Regenerator sounds good, but doesnt make a whole lot of sense compared to some other Regenerator Pokemon, of which are based on things that would have an easier time healing damage, like mushrooms (sheer abundance) or sea stars (might as well have Toxapex split after its hit lol). Poison Heal also benefits Goodra a lot more since its immune to status and cant be chipped away at with Toxic.

Seeing Goodra get some small buffs last DLC was nice, but let's be honest, it wasn't jumping to OU or even UU. I don't think there's anything that can make it that way again, but it would be cool to see it get something, anything at all. I legitimately think the only thing it'd really need to jump up in a huge way for viability is getting some form of reliable recovery. Hydration+Rest doesn't count btw. Also it does have Toxic. Got it back in DLC1

Honestly i think goodra should just get regenerator, i mean look at it, it should be able to absorb the liquid to regenerate it. Flygon needs buffed. She has spent to damn long in Garchomp’s shadow and what does Gamefreak do? Did they buff Flygon? NOPE!!! The literal opposite and took moves away from her. Essentially forcing her into a dragon dance or choice set only. “But Flygon has stealth rock and tailwind and helping hands now”. Ah yes turn a base 100 atk and speed sweeper into support and not even good support at that since there other rock and tailwind setters that do the job better. Give us a dragon type close combat or rework outrage and its variants to be such moves If I get to choose four mons, I would completely break them. First things first is the dragon type close combat and give it to all major dragons Give Garchomp tough claws, headlong rush, and shift gear. Give Hydreigon sheer force and sludge bomb.
