This sounds fucking amazing. Overtly guitar laden all highs, all treble. Hardly any annoying bass. I hate bass/drums/shit. Good vocals. I don't even have to turn sound up more than a few ticks from the minimum and I hear it perfect! Love the mix on this cd. Much better than the "Remastered" release of How Could Hell Be... ***** LoL not YOU again :P! The wanna be mall poser hot topic punk. Get with the times brother. This band sucks after "Back To The Known". They were garbage starting on Suffer and they are even worse now. Just like those other sellout bands you named. Offspring put out TWO great punk records then sold out with "Smash" shit. They ceased to be good after Ignition... The Vandals were NEVER good. Joke comical music that sounded like it should be played at chuckie cheese! Pennywise always sounded like sellout era bad religion. Every song sounds the same. Every album the same. Over and over and over and over... and over.... I will admit I liked the first two pennywise albums, but just mildly. Everything after was repetitive bad religion ripoff passionless samey safe corporate mainstream crapola music. Just like bad religion from 1986 to the present. You my sad friend jack have LOW standards and would eat shit and call it a diamond if they served it to you!
@JWFdocumentaries9 жыл бұрын
and ass for calling most of this stuff mainstream, I know its over produced, but do you bother listening to lyrics at all? This isn't just music about nothing, there's pretty strong lyrical content with bad religion, even in the later albums that i don't really like. I will admit, all the albums that came a bit later really really suck and officially tuned in on 12 year old and shit, but i'd say they had like 4 good albums each, not just 2. pennywise are just some regular dudes, they don't but into any particular scene at all accept the skate and surf scene, but they are almost the definition of what punk should be in contrst to spending mad money on fashion, eben if u make it urself like a 'real punk'. Only reason everyone hates is bc they're signed to epitaph.

Somehow you can trace good old punk to production of drums. When they crash around like on this album, you know they had a need to record songs, not to sound cool/macho. Today you hear nitpicking in drum production and you know the band had fun in the hours of recording, and then technicians took the job to make it sound as the consumers want.

Money? A fine point, but let us not imagine a BR beyond corporatism. I have been a personal adherent to the gospel of BR since no less than 95. I propose they have never been beyond capitalistic endeavors, but mindful that they not overstep their appreciation of us individuals in their pursuit.
