The Gray Race was my first BR album back in '96 when I was 12. Ironically, bought with a gift certificate to the local record store I received for Easter. haha. Seems like fans are often split on this album. It's the first album that was a string a records without Brett Gurewitz, so it's missing his songwriting style. But I always thought this was one of their most consistent 90s records. I like it more than the 3 before it and the 2 that followed it.
