Listening closely to the Bad Religion catalog through and older, more patient set of ears is highly recommended.

I'm a single dad. The last time I tried to see this amazing band, my son was too young to get into the venue. This music is something I can't wait to share with my son. I can't think of a better way to share my youth with him, than to stand in the back of a Bad Religion show and dance together. They will let us in one of these days, Jaeden!

BAD RELIGION! One of my all time favorite bands for a few reasons. The songs are fast, visceral and catchy, the lyrics are erudite and inspiring, and the harmonies are/were pretty unique to punk rock. Its like punk rock science!

Amazing band. The first band I really fell in love with.. I was only a kid at the time.. I'm just realising, that all these years later, I still listen to all the Bad Religion records I had since I was a kid.. I got sick of a lot of other bands I used to listen to, but Bad Religion were the first band I went NUTS about, and bought ALL their records, and they are one of the only bands that remained constant in my life. I still ROCK out to them today... Greg's voice is what first attracted me to the band, but I was soon roped in by the intelligent, thought-provoking lyrics, vocal harmonies, furious guitar slides and solos, relentless drumming and meandering bass runs.. All these things combine to form the jewel of my universe... BAD RELIGION! Much love and respect to all Bad Religion fans out there.. From HUGE fan Davey in the heartlands of Ireland (Éire) :)

I was at this show!!! Seems just like yesterday ....Yes I'm a girl and LOVE THE MOSH PIT! Something about Bad Religion always makes me go crazy in a good way....they evoke such deep, passionate feelings in me and concerts are the way to release it....and it's so much goddamn fun....Man I miss these days! I saw them recently in 2022 and they played a lot of their old stuff. Now I'm pregnant and about to have a son and can't wait to bring him to a Bad Religion concert. My husband looked at me like I was crazy in the concert moshing...I dont think he expected that level of wildness. 😂😂 I've liked Bad Religion ever since I was 16 years old....And the first song I heard of them "Kyoto Now" changed my whole life forever and got me into punk rock......I've never felt more alive then at a concert of theirs......absolutely amazing band! I'm now 35 and get sad thinking about my youth and don't want to let it go!

Has anyone listened to this in 5.1? Does it actually sound much better? Because the mix is pretty bad in stereo - incredibly uneven above anything else. It kind of gets better later in the show but damn, what happened in Sinister Rouge? I can forgive the painfully obvious vocal overdubs but there are some bizarre mixing decisions throughout. I can imagine that mixing a live record is not easy, however their albums around that time were very well produced. What happened?

I just learned that Brooks left BR to go to Avenged Sevenfold. To be honest although it's sad that he left, he was just way too good to be in Bad Religion. A drummer of his caliber does deserve a better band to develop as an artist.

@@ricardovasquezcorrea7887 I get what you are saying, but it's a dumb fucking way to say it. Avenged Sevenfold requires more dynamics in their drumming than does Bad Religion. Bad Religion is a punk rock band, they don't play fucking prog metal or something like that. They have a different ethic. Ask Zacky of A7X what he thinks of Bad Religion. He reveres them. Ultimately, what is "a better band"? Is A7X better because they are better musicians? Bad Religion are quite fine enough musicians to play what they play, end of story, Brooks stayed in Bad Religion a long goddamn time for being "above them" musically.

Saw this band play many years to a sold out show at The Palladium with Bikini Kill, White Zombie, and Stone Temple Pilots. When these guys came on I couldn't believe how tight and raw the sound was. Who was the drummer on the "Stranger Than Fiction" record? I think it was Bobby Schayer, but can't be 100% sure, but I ALWAYS loved his style.. Also, two more questions, when did Baker join on guitar? Was it on "Stranger Than Fiction" too? I'm nearly sure I can hear his very distinctive bass-heavy guitar tone cutting through on a lot of the tracks (Especially in "Tiny Voices"), and when did Greg Hetson leave and why? If anyone can clear these questions up for me, I'd be eternally grateful, as I'm a HUGE Bad Religion fan! :) From Davey in Éire :)

Ah kids, to see this video with yellow-shirted goons in front of the stage just makes me sad. I first saw BR probably in 1989 or 1990 in Tijuana. No visible security. We climbed on stage, danced with the band, dived off stage, repeat. The moshing was chaotic, but not too violent. Greg kicked out a kid who was literally trying to beat up everyone. It's sad to see this level of security. The golden age is long dead...long dead.
