It is, he was able to kind of mix everything good about the past drummers and put something from himself in there. He doesnt overplay, he stick very faithful to the original songs, and also doesnt super speed up every damn song (Brooks im watching you). Love this guy.

What throws me totally off of this performance are the quarter notes instead of 8th notes on the hi hat and ride. It just doesn’t sound right.
