That looks like weather pack type connectors on that transducer. Truck manufacturers like to use those too. I’m often re pinning connectors or fixing them due to loose pins and corrosion causing faulty readings. Because it’s much cheaper than the 800 dollar harness or the customer urgently needs the truck. They make tools to release and repair the pins on those connectors if you’re in a pinch. Cheers, great video

Regardless of transducer malfunction, there should be valves which will regulate temperature even if the suction. Is too low. As long as the case temp sensors are reading correct.

Another good one 👍 Hey Gabriel, how many different digital control panels this style do you usually face on refrigeration 3, 4, 5..? Thanks for share.

I know you have to stay on point, but any addition info about how to operate and move within the controller will help tremendously. Thanks

Is there any way to actually test the transducer and wiring before installing a new transducer? I guess if they are digital that would be difficult, but if they are analog that should be possible. right?
@gr82becool5 жыл бұрын
Right, just make sure you have an accurate guage?

So off set is like differential on the low pressure control? I though the pressure at the transducer match with the controller after you set off set to 0. Why is that you still replace the transducer if it feeds back the right data? Thank you very much
@gr82becool4 жыл бұрын
The transducer already had a offset, so when I went take off the offset and it went back to normal readings. It will go out of calibration again, so it is already bad. That’s why I changed it. Hopefully I didn’t confuse you too much. 👍

RefrigerationTech thank you very much no not at all. Sorry for asking too many question. I try to learn more of this stuff myself. Is there school or any place they train these? As far as the system itself and the controller? Again thank you very much

I do not like the way the Emerson E2 controller displays the old Com-Trol I/O as just the point type and point number. If you have a lot of AI's or RO boards it could take some time to figure out what point you are looking. You would think there would be a way to rename them the actual point name. We use those ACI sensors a lot I think those are 0-5 VDC and they are pretty reliable. Nice job as always.
@hg2.3 жыл бұрын
Can you tell me what AI and RO boards are?
@gr82becool3 жыл бұрын
“AI” stands for Analog Input, these boards are for sensors and transducer, etc. and “RO” stands for Relay Output, these boards are for your loads, like solenoids, Contactors, etc

Do you use any digital gauges at all? And are you at a union shop or no, if not can you say what the shops name is
@gr82becool5 жыл бұрын
The only digital guages I have are my Testo 557. No we are not a Union shop. I would prefer not to mention my work name. I don't know how they would react. Thanks for your comment.

557 are good gauges ! And that’s cool I completely understand also people online sometimes will wright messed up reviews or do stupid shit like that so it’s probably the right move. But thanks for the answer I never get tired of your market videos 👍👍
