Bad Upper Idler Pulley - Crossfire - M112 - M112K - SLK - E320 - C320

Welp, that's a bad Idler Pulley! I'm not risk-averse, so this car is getting parked. Good news is, I ordered a new one from FCPEuro for $10 total. If you're unfamiliar with how pullies should sound, you SHOULD NOT hear anything. They should be smooth as silk. If not, replace them immediately. Best case: You get stranded. Worst case: Engine damage from an exploding pulley. This Upper Idler Pulley commonly fails because of its small diameter. All M112 M1112K M113 M113K have this pulley. This car only has 80K miles on it.
Personally, I check all my pullies by hand by removing the belt at least every 6 months.
