Yes and no, The format is a great idea but the lettering displacement is awful along with not matching the originals. I am hoping the rest wont be like this.

Not sure how tight the fit is on those Invincible Library editions but maybe a custom dust jacket would fit?

I was considering doing that myself. Because it just fell out of the slip case as soon as I unwrapped it. So a dust jacket should help keep them snug. I will try it with one and see how it works. Once I have the entire set I will drop a comparison video between the OHC set and the library editions. If the dust jackets work out il drop a separate video for the set.

I got my Invincible libraries in as well and notice the differences even in color quality. Vol 6 is coming bro. Awesome haul bro.

I have volume 2 & 4 with 1 pre-ordered. I've bought the 3rd one two seperate times because the binding was so bad. The stitching is glued completely down, causing massive gutter loss and the pages forcibly shutting. Both times were the same, so i hope they do a 2023 edition of this volume to fix the problem

I know I cant wait to have the entire series in library slip covers! I just wish Image was doing a better job with these reprints.

I have the same issue with my copy. JP said he was getting reports of the book being damaged so he asked me to check mine and sure enough they are all like that.

Death of Spider-Man is the book after 4 and will heavily double dip with Ultimate Spider-Man 5

Great queation. But the answer really depends on your own personal preferences. The library editions are the top tier way to collect them. They have the most complete version of the set. Bigger art more issues per volume. However that said the OHC set is much easier to read. More volumes means lighter books. Both versions contain the entire run. THE OHCs have a power ranger or skittles feel to the designs. Which is why i covered mine in custom dust jackes. If it were me and I handt already owned the OHCs with custom DJs id get the library editions. But thats me. You have to get whats best for you. Hope this helps. 🙂
