in all honesty, i dont think cursed woody is an "goes with everything" type material. the rythm is extremely inconsistent and most of the vocals are just not that captivating if not used wisely. (and being from a.i only makes it worse lmao) this is the reason why i had to restructure most of the song to make it work right, which at this point, is really no different from using literally any other material. and this is honestly my main issue with most of the cursed woody mashups out there; people tend to only care for throwing the entire damn music with some random bgm, without really taking time to, you know, understand the artistic values of both sources, recontextualize their ideas, and mix it well to an point where it feels like something completely new and original. im not saying every cursed woody mashup is bad or that everything has to be wisefully work out. i recognize my very own mashup isnt any near perfect and i've commited several mistakes with it (specially by the ending). but i just wish people could stop thinking cursed woody is an "oh this sound good with everything!!!" and actually learn the importance of good mixing and respect for the sources' values. with that being said, i tried doing an "im the purple guy" mashup once and dear lord it sounded so boring i had to give up on ever doing an cursed woody mashup again
