Awesome to see VFCs new lineup coming out! Mostly excited for the FAL GBBR (FN LAR). The right arm of the free world has gone far too long being heavily underappreciated in the airsoft world! Cold War punchy battle rifles are my favourite, just something about the oldschool retro stamped steels, wooden furniture and early forms of polymers and most importantly, no fancy accessories covering their beautiful lines. Its just everything about the era in general. The days when governments would go wild experimenting with rifle platforms, compared to today where the only experimentation seems to be done on auxiliary components.. The 50s and 60s were very very intriguing times in terms of military technology and experimentation

5:37 That weak charging action is likely because you have to wipe down your bolt and re-lube it. If it's like the G3, it ships wit this black guck all over it that slows the action. Also, on you're G3 you mentioned your selector being very stiff, it's because your housing (lower) is bad/bent. My G3 also shipped this way. Getting a real housing made properly will fix this, even slapping on your MP5 lower, you'll see the difference! It looks to be the same issue with this PSG-1.

Why is everyone complaining about the weight for playing? It's a sniper rifle. One can argue that in airsoft u have to move more because of the short distance the bbs travel. But then I have to think about the poor guys back in ww2 who carried the Thompson that was basically the same weight. If it's too heavy grow bigger biceps. More important for me is: do the internals hold up? And is it capable of doing what it is supposed to do - being an airsoft sniper rifle?
@BadaBingPictures3 жыл бұрын
It’s a big heavy rifle but the great thing is the weight is evenly distributed throughout, so it’s not too bad. Couldn’t agree more, if it can deliver where it matters that’s all I care about. My very brief range tests with 0.40g & 0.45g bbs have been pleasing. I’ll see what it’s like engaging targets at those distances in good time.

Question, mine seem to have completely different looking trades and licensing. Instead of the white filled serial number, mine says "PSG1 44- 1970" followed by the "KG" marking below it. Then it has "W-Germany" on the other side of the magwell. I also noticed when I examined it that under the barrel like you showed, it does have the 6mm markings, (it has nothing on the barrel) I wonder if mine is the "Asia Edition" which I find odd as I reside in North America. I'm seriously considering getting this rifle, it looks amazing and I rock flecktarn so it's a match in heaven. I'm looking at investing in a DMR loadout but I can't find any info online on the performance of this gun. What's the perfomance like?
@BadaBingPictures Жыл бұрын
It’s certainly a lovely rifle to behold. Awkward to use as it’s bulky on the stock and palm rest. So you’re not going to be very manoeuvrable. Performance is solid. Cold weather isn’t the best, and she’s generally hungry on the gas too. The range on a .45g bb is 70+ metres. Accuracy isn’t bad, but can be improved if you wanted. The major factor would be consistency. For long range work, you will definitely notice the variations in gas consistency from one half of the magazine to the other. Another downside which is often overlooked is cleaning the inner barrel. It’s so long and there are virtually no airsoft cleaning rods that can punch all the way through.

While the HK PSG-1 is an iconic rifle, it is certainly something I wouldn't pick up. This is for a few different reasons but the main one is that it simply doesn't fit with my play style and load outs. As for drawing comparisons between the WE and VFC... I'd argue that it's a reasonably fair comparison as at their heart they're both based on the same/similar systems. Admittedly the PSG-1 does have some modifications which were made in order to fit operational requirements but these wouldn't really have any notable impact on the airsoft version. For the price, it looks rather disappointing to be honest. For around the £1000 mark I'd have expected a wooden handle and for other features to be correct. Quality wise it doesn't really look as though it outshines the WE G3 (Ok the G3 is a different rifle, I get that). I'll keep my eyes open and wallet at the ready for when the GHK AKMS I have my eye on becomes available again although the price increases due to Brexit really leave me questioning the pursuit of new airsoft kit.

My works fine. Only heavy BB have big problems. The HopUp is good, but the long inner barrel can't blow heavy BBs through. You can raise the NPAS higher. The problem is a strong cooldown as a result. up to 0.28g the PSG1 is OK.

@@BB2K-Airsoft Thanks for the input man! As stated above, I'm nervous about buying it since it has some issues and quite the pricetag. honestly I want one and then make a GSG 9 outfit to go with it and play counter terrorist :) I also would not be baffled if the trigger is like that on the real steal thing cuz this rifle was made for taking one shot and one shot only on a hostage taker.

At 3:05 your saying that it will break because its VFC.. But is vfc well known to break? Or was it just a joke? Since am looking for a realistic and strongly made airsoft gbbr rifle! With preferably no plastic internals or parts on the outside ^^, Like am looking for a premium and solid rifle :)
@BadaBingPictures3 жыл бұрын
It’s kind of a joke at my own expense because I have a habit of breaking VFC’s simply by using them. HK417 Hop Up Chamber HK417 Upper Receiver HK416A5 Hop Up Chamber HK416A5 Hop Up Adjuster MP5A5 Cocking Support Tube To name a few. Depends what kind of GBBR you want I guess. There’s lots of different ones to choose from.

@@BadaBingPictures haha yea, well! Am rewatching EVERY single video of your channel about gbbrs and then make my decision! I wanted to get a gbbr rifle 3 years ago but I kinda forgot about it! And back then I always wanted to get a vfc m4 if am not mistaken! But now looking back ar your MWS video's damn I kinda want one! But I just want a gbbr that is solidly build! All metal preferable internals aswell and my prefered model is like an m4 / ar15 / hk416 gun.. oh well, I just can't really decide on which one I should get!

You’d be making one of the best decisions by going with TM M4 GBBR’s. Sure it has some plastic internals but it’s proven. Set your hop up and go. They’re that easy.

Good first impressions. I personally don't like it, too much $ for the large base, wobble in the handgaurd, to heavy, and too bulky, fake wood, g5 type of charging handle. Ohh no. I think they might have rushed production 415 fps is way too low for this type of platform my cyma m700a stock is about 410-420 my included upgrade is about 460-490. No bipod included. And parts for vfc are difficult to find also mags are way too much. There is to many bads in exchange for the one good thing that it looks amazing. Anyway thanks for your videos🤙🤙 I personally know how hard it is to do these videos as I don't have one up and its been weeks of attempts😤😤

Just got a W.E pdw S with npas fitted, what would you say is the first part i should upgrade? Bare in mind what mad things ive gotten myself for the hobby lol, ive spent a good bit over a thousand so far getting myself bits and bobs like a brighter c tracer and rounds for my we m9a1 hexcut, a one tigris advanced version plate carrier with attachments and everything else like cases, bag, wall mounts, sights, head setup etc etc.. 😌👌.. Now i wanna spend at most £200 on my rifle upgrades, as by itself with npas, my pdw were £440🤯 i came here instead of forums coz ive seen some peoples questions ive had myself get answered quickly, and bada brings some good knowledge on gas blowbacks, so if anybody knows in a good order what i should start upgrading on my gun, it would be much appreciated guys! N when my jobs done ill upload what ive done to my walk in wardrobe, i'm proud so far.. hopefully see some of you when covids gone too, peace! 🔫😎🌍
