How to make almond flour ? Is flour to be made after removing the husk of the almond?

Making almond flour at home is simple and only requires one ingredient-almonds! Here’s a step-by-step guide: Ingredients •Blanched Almonds (without skins) for a fine, light almond flour Note: If you want almond meal, which is slightly coarser and includes the skins, you can use raw almonds with skins. Instructions 1. Blanch the Almonds (optional): If you want a finer flour with a lighter color, you can blanch the almonds. To do this: • Boil water and pour it over the almonds in a bowl. • Let them sit for about a minute, then drain and rinse with cold water. • Peel off the skins (they should slide off easily). • Let the blanched almonds dry completely before proceeding. 2. Grind the Almonds - Add about 1 cup of almonds to a food processor or high-speed blender. Don’t fill the container too high; this will help avoid over-processing. Pulse in short bursts until the almonds reach a fine, powdery consistency. Avoid over-blending, as this can turn the almonds into almond butter. 3.Sift the Flour: Pass the ground almonds through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any larger pieces. Re-blend any larger pieces and sift again if needed. 4.Store the Almond Flour: Place the almond flour in an airtight container. It can be stored in the fridge for up to a month or in the freezer for longer storage. And that’s it! You’ve got fresh almond flour ready to use in baking, cooking, or even as a gluten-free breadcrumb substitute.

I am making it with almond neal flour blanched almond flour..but mine are a bit soft could it be because they are still slight warm?

Thank you for your replies. Is there a difference between almond flour and almond powder? What i used was almond flour which was like atta consistency not corse ..is almond powder better for this recipe..the store bought ones from india are a bit corse when u eat them

Hi, Thank you for comment. 😇 Almond flour has a mild flavor and smaller or finer grains. It's ground to the point that it has an almost powdery consistency. Their main difference is that almond flour is made from blanched almonds, which leads to variations in color, texture, and flavor. You can use either of them 😊

Hi, You may use 1/2 cup or as per taste Jaggery Powder instead of Sugar. Honey or Dates won’t give exact result.

Also yours is slightly yellow did you put food color...kesar color. I m sure in the stores they put food color

We have added kesar milk for flavour and colour. If you want then you may add colour.

Yes..next time I will add kesar color and make it with almond powder...cause in India when u taste badam puri its got a grainy consistency...also i thought it should become yellow while roasting it on the pan since yours looked yellow with brown patches on it...hence mine turned out pretty hard on the outside and and chewy inside. It will be helpful if u could include all minor details in your videos ..I roasted it around 3 minutes each on either side

Hi, yes you can broil like 3 - 4 minutes and remove from the heat and let it cool for 1 minute. Once it is slightly cooled then flip and return to broiling for 3 - 4minutes again.😊 Broil at 180°C

Hu ghare thi sweets vasana athana shrikhand chocolate cupcakes Ice cream tubcake brownie na order lau chhu. Puri pam order thi banavi saku aetle shelf life nu puchhyu. Thank you so much
