I believe those tires are directional and they are installed the correct way to push mud out of the way but I used to ride xc mountain bikes a lot and one time I accidentally installed my rear tire (Kenda Nevegal 26”) on backwards and rode for a few hours. Throughout the ride I had some crazy good traction, even going uphill with wet tires after going through small streams. We were loading the bikes up after and that’s when my friend pointed out that it was on backwards. I kept it like that from then on. I wonder how well it would work on this truck?.

There are actually quite a few people that do run them backwards. Its an ongoing debate lol. No clear winner. Be nice if there was some way to determine a winner!! But in my opinion thats the direction they are installed on a tractor which is used for pulling and require the most traction. If the other way gave more traction then tractor manufacturers would have installed them the other way. But just my opinion of course lol
