Growing up in SP( 23rd and Morris) there was many cultures packed within a small area of the city. You had Black American, Italian, Irish, Puerto Rican and SE Asian neighborhoods all lined up next to each other, the children all going to schools together and sharing cultural exchange. This video was great, the artist’s vocals were on point. In my opinion, it represented for Cambodians and for Philly! Loved the city skyline shots 🔥

Azi fellas... used to listen to another track they made way back when. They sampled an old sinnsamouth and srey rothea song.. spent days searching through so many khmer forums and googling khmer words trying to find the song. Finally found it and made me really appreciate khmer oldies and my own khmer background. Kinda mindblown now bc theyre in philly? Anyways. Thanks AZI for helping me appreciate my country's music. This song sounds like a song my parenst used to listen to when i was little, it probably is.

Living here in the US it's an advantage. Our roots take to our ancestors. Although been here for over 30 years, but never forget my roots. My dad and my mom went through the Rough that was devastating. We are in the U.S because of devotion. It breaks my heart what they struggled thru for all the kids to live here beginning with nothing.
