Mm yes . . An apt comparison. This guy's bass playing just blows my mind. He's melodic, intricate and technical all while somehow being in the pocket at the same time. I think it's hard to praise the bassist without talking about the drummer too. Their partnership in the rhythm section has an unreal feel, they complement each other perfectly.
