This is why Bad is one of my favorite people on the Internet. I look up to him. He is what I strive to be, honestly. He is kind to both sides, and is reasonable and doesn't tell people to blindly follow his opinion. He's telling everyone to come to their own conclusion. I stand with Bad, and I did before I saw this. It makes me happy that he talked about this in such a way. And to those of you who disagree with Bad and whatnot, who believe the allegations, that's okay. i agree with this. i am fine with people believing the allegations as long as they dont attack anyone (including dream) about it. however, twitter has a terrible reputation with blindly hating and harassing people with differing opinions. people on twitter are just brick walls being spoken to, who never think about the other side at any point in time. however, both sides of believing and not believing the allegations have people who attack each other but the non-believers of the allegations are more about giving facts and giving more proof than the other side. this is just going with twitter, though, since that is the only place i can watch this drama happen.

I really like how Bad handled the situation, how he spoke clearly and expressed his opinions. I also like how his Minecraft character moved around a lot while he was talking, cause it makes it harder for ppl to edit clips together to make it seem like he said something else, I think that’s very wise. In my own opinion ever since Dream did a face reveal things have just went out of control, first people hated how he looked as if he can pick his own face when he was born or something. Then the girl who came out to accuse dream is grooming which her proof was literally them having friendly conversation and the fact that she even said she will be taking legal actions and would be sending more proof which she never did either. Dream has said that some people have tried to dm him in weeks before their 18 which is crazy. I’ve never been a dream fan and never really watched him but it always bothered me to see how much hate he got for little reason. Bad is the one person out there who I’d believe on this issue. I don’t have Twitter but I have seen screenshots of Dream’s tweets in other videos, and he gives very long arguments about why he’s innocent (which I think is some of the problem. He should really just stop responding, especially in massive chunks of text.) Based on the somewhat flimsy evidence that he’s guilty and the mostly decent evidence that he’s innocent, I really don’t think he did what he’s being accused of. Screenshots and even voice recordings are fairly easy to fake and he’s already so hated for the cheating thing- it’d be so easy for people that already hate him to jump onto this.

I agree with you on this. I think the hate he’s been getting ever since the face reveal made some people put out “evidence” against him. But from the evidence I’ve seen so far, there’s something off about them - some of the evidence don’t seem like enough proof showing that it was Dream who said those some things. I feel like some teenagers also fooled Dream into thinking they are an adult if those weird conversations were actually exchanged. I don’t know anymore, if more people comes out with actual evidence with nothing missing such as showing a video of clicking on Dreams name in the text messages to show that it was him KNOWINGLY texting a minor inappropriately where other people cannot contradict it, then I’d believe it, but I haven’t seen such a thing yet. The evidence shown so far doesn’t seem like they are legitimate - showing screen shots without proving it was Dream in those screenshots doesn’t seem like evidence.

I appreciate how well BBH handles any drama thrown in his or his friends directions. It is especially important on this topic. The allegations here are severe, but it is essential not to blindly believe either the alleged victim or the alleged perpetrator, because sometimes people lie. The internet was sent REELING when content creator Kwite systematically dismantled all of Orion's false allegations against him, many so-called defenders of justice feeling horribly guilty when they realized they attacked and ruined an innocent man's reputation based on the lies of an abuser. We don't have all the information, so I don't feel comfortable calling Dream guilty or innocent until then. Kwite had amazing advice for that: when accusations like this come forward, treat the alleged victim with sympathy, respect and support, but don't believe every word blindly, and don't attack the accused without bulletproof evidence of guilt. We aren't heroes, there is no dragon to defeat, cancel culture doesn't have a place in these matters.

Personally I don't believe Dream is a groomer. There is a LOT to say about those accusations and what makes me think he's not, but like Bad I don't think Dream is lying. Those accusations happens a lot to begin with about any popular person, when they reach the peak of popularity they always get accused of grooming, mental/physical abuse or rape. Of course I'm not saying itself not impossible, but given how people always aim at popular people with those random accusations EXACTLY at the moment someone reach a peak point of popularity those allegations started more or less around the time Dream did a face reveal which feels suspicious to me. Look at Kwite for example. He started to get a lot popular and around that time his ex boyfriend (I think they were in a relationship I can't be too sure with that, it's been a while since I watched the video, either way they were close enough to make Kwite take photos together) and used a lot of accusations which were all false (also a little head up, twit and Instagram texts can be falsified in a realistic way without even making the photoshop visible because there's no photoshop, there's also a Instagram "glitch" that allow you to write a text to someone and make it look they sent it to you, so you can make it look like a celebrity or whatever texted you (a guy who does videos all about that kind of things showed that trick) so personally unless ACTUALLY proven otherwise I won't 100% doubt the victim because it is a serious topic but I also can't believe them and believe Dream a bit more but of course until the truth is 100% confirmed while I lean more the believing Dream because the timing of the accusations are a bit too perfect but I'm still not sure with Dream or the presumed victims words yet.

The typical tactics is to let the other party speak more than they should. Same with Kwite, he didn't really immediately say "no, I'm not this, and here's all the evidence I don't have since I just got the news." Something Dream did, which was incredibly stupid of him and to call the person making allegations an idiot and whoever that believed it as well (when he had zero evidence to back that up, at the time.) Dream distancing from others is from what I understand, other people doing their own projects and Dream doing his shows, albeit I don't know them personally if they had personal conflicts, just based out of the other KZbinr friends.

the main reason that i don’t think Dream is actually a groomer is because all these allegations came out after he face revealed. i understand its an incredibly sensitive and delicate matter and much like BadBoyHalo talks about in this video, i will support people that i believe are innocent, in this case Dream. I’d just like to point out that making weird remarks does not make you a pedophile. I am severely socially awkward and when I try to fit in I often stumble over myself and make myself look like a freak. When I was 17, some of my friends started using some dark humor at times. After a few weeks, I wanted to try and fit in with them as I felt left out when they would make jokes and laugh and I would have no idea about what was so funny. Well, when I started trying to make such jokes myself, I just ended up sounding weird and creepy. Luckily my friends knew me well and that I was just struggling to fit in, and eventually I grew out of that phase and stopped trying to mimic their humor. It just wasn’t for me lol. Not to say that it’s acceptable for Dream as an adult to be saying such things but as far as I know, he stopped making such remarks and jokes (maybe I’m wrong?) and again, it doesn’t make him a pedophile or a groomer in itself.

Unfortunately, no one told me what happened and I wasn't able to do a proper research on this one, but now I see the topic. It obv deserves a proper research for information, cause grooming is an awful action to make. We might not have the full picture as fans (as BBH said) and .. gosh.. Listen, I don’t have enough evidence to make any conclusions yet. I do know 2 things, however. 1.) people have hated Dream for a long time. There has always been Dream slander for seemingly no reason, and I’ve never understood why because he’s just a content creator and a guy in Florida. I feel that all the negative attention he got/is getting is just really unfair. 2.) because of that, I know people will do and say anything for either attention or just to be a dickhead who spreads rumors to ruin someone’s life. Another thing is that these types of things happen to nearly every big content creator, and because Dream tends to have a fairly toxic fanbase (I’m taking about stans, not fans) and a large number of slanderers, I feel like everyone’s a little biased. My final note is that: I don’t know if it’s true or not. If it is, I will immediately state that I don’t support him. 1. He has admitted to some of it (talking to them on snap without s word contacting, audio) which is different than an entirely fabricated story. 2. He has not given "tons of proof", he's barely addressed it and is still working on a response. Most of his tweets talking about it are just hearsay and not concrete at all. (e.g accusing his ex of doing it, just saying she lied) 3. Due to the nature of Snapchat, it's very hard to get proof since everything has an expiration date, what's she supposed to do other than plead with people to believe her with the evidence she does have? Just live in silence with the trauma as her groomer continues being idolized and continues doing it to more people? (Assuming she's telling the truth) I don't really have an opinion on this since I'm waiting for dream's video, and I do highly respect people who try to be unbiased, but I think this is more significant than just a baseless accusation. I don't want to be one of those people who are like "oh, anyone who's an adult can't talk to minors ever" because when I was 13-16 almost all of my friends were adults, hell at 17 my best friend was 33, but the fact he was talking to her on a service which is so temporary is suspicious to me. He's said he's working on a video. This could take months to make considering Kwite's video took a month to make and he had only a single allegation made against him. Dream has a LOT going against him so it will take a while to make. I, personally, haven't seen any actual proof that he's groomed anyone. Everything I've seen has been edited in some way, or the accuser has literally admitted to themselves lying. If you could link some of this legitimate proof then please go ahead, I'd like to see it as I havent already. Another note is that neurodiverse people struggle with social standards (this isn't me being quirky like one of those online fakers. It's a genuine thing that is much deeper than needing /s or /j at the end of sentences. It can literally cause you to struggle with maturity in situations and how to best react in situations - I, personally, struggle with this as Ii will laugh in basically any situation due to anxiety/stress/happiness) so Dream may be in a situation where he cant understand what to do as there's no point in life where you are taught how to react when being accused of grooming, especially as it takes longer for neurodiverse people to learn this when it does happen. the persona this man has built around himself has really taken a hold of many people here, parasociality plays a huge role in most of the comments ive seen here. i highly encourage reevaluation of your views if you let the so called 'softness' and 'trustworthiness' of this stranger influence your view on a situation with such utmost importance. real people have been harmed and youre out here looking at it all through an uncritical, unfiltered lense. all because you cant shake the thought of a man with a sweet and humble persona lying to your face. i cant state this enough - i highly encourage reevaluation, and doing your own research before you come to a conclusion.

*real people have claimed to have been harmed. I believe Dream is a manipulative, low empathy person from how he talks and acts, but after seeing his response I think he is innocent. I also don't think it's inherently "wrong" to judge someone's character and trust them after, but most I think most people do not doubt anything to get to trust. What most people call "trust" is actually apathy, and that's very dangerous to get used to doing. So, I agree with your sentiment, but disagree with your opinion.

I just discovered dream 3 weeks ago before this come up to light, i first see his content in dream shorts and i find it so hilarious so i searched through his main and i find him funny, smart and innovative, genius i might say, and how he cares for his friends, you can feel it genuinely, I've seen so many times that he's been called out by George being friendly with his fans, and he said in an interview, he can't view them as numbers in his channel cause they're real people thats why so interactive, so I'm shocked to this one, I've done a research and learned this was a year ago, Dream was advised not to talked about it not until she took legal actions which took a year and didn't come to light, so Dream tell his side just now, it's so unfair that people judge him for that, followed by tge hate he gain from his face reveal (which they call him ugly but not, i find him attractive) it's not just grooming that can destroy a persons life but also false accusations

I just REALLY hope this won’t end up like the Inquisitor’s story, i felt so bad for him, and now it feels like same situation if you look into it more. Im not sure what side i am on, since i tried to look for proof and find actual evidence that Dream did all of the stuff theyre accusing him for, but i just can’t find ANYTHING directly against him, but i don’t know if i should defend him either. I'm mainly nutral on this whole dream situation as I bearly keep up with it, HOWEVER some of the recent things he has done I 100% disagree with and I do not like him as a person for. I am mainly talking about how he took a video of Gumballs VA drunk talking shit to him in the middle of an episode. There are some things dreams done like this that I just can't stand by at all, but the grooming alegations are something I'm trying to stay away from because I, obviously, have my own bias on him as a person as of current. However I have no real world ideas as to whether these aligations are true or false, I haven't actually seen the original or any new evidence on it, but I try keep myself pretty nutral on the topic cause, as we all are, I am unaware of whether this is real of fake. i am waiting to hear both sides, obviously i support the victims and if what they are saying is true it takes a lot of courage i hope they are just allegations so those people didn't have to go through something as horrible as grooming. i do however believe that dream has a not appropriate and a parasocial relationship with his fans and shouldn't have been messaging them in the first place. that was irresponsible on his part.
