Better with Kaloud. You have higher temperature. Steam stones need high temperature.

hey so if i use a regular egyptian hookah bowl (the ceramic) with the chimney set i don't need the aluminum foil with the holes, correct? i assume i just put the chimney set on the bowl

Yup, there is a mesh I suppose to substitute that foil

Yes you can put chimney set on top of your bowl and you don't need a foil. But remember check chimney set was fit in your egyptian masta bowl.

Sorry. I read my post 1 year later and found that I wrote it incomplete :). So, I'm deleting it and adding a new one - with important info... namely that I was writing about "sheet metal" at the time, like the bottom part of Badcha. It's basically a useless bottom part - to use. Its only purpose is to "keep the strainer well on the bowl". After inserting the lower steel part on the bowl, the heat source will unfortunately move many millimeters higher than if we had not used this "lower part". Therefore, it is necessary to use even 4 pieces of coal, instead of 3 pieces of coal. I think the bottom part is useless. Very many smokers in the hookah community uses only the upper large stainless steel strainer - possibly with a foil. So without the bottom and without the chimney. So that's what I wanted sometimes ago ... :) this was the basic point of my old post :).

@@ciemny9410 Hi. Yes. Exactly so... just use the aluminium foil + the upper large sieve together. Uhm, how many holes ? It does not matter... because of the sieve :). It is the sieve :). So... make holes as you need there :).
