Since Tom Evans' harmony is essential to this song I tried a bit of the ol' double tracking by extracting the audio using iMovie from another clip of me doing the same song. I kept it all together by listening and playing along with the original song through an earpiece. Hope you like it.

I haven't been to this video in awhile and am amazed at the amount of positive comments resulting from the song's use in the Breaking Bad finale and my take on it here of a few years back. I finally succumbed to the persistent nudging of friends to give the show a chance and ended up binge-watching the show just before the final few episodes (I could see Sir Anthony Hopkins' point(s) in his letter of praise to Brian Cranston- utterly fantastic show!). I would hope that the estate of Pete Ham has benefited and that the Breaking Bad exposure hasn't resulted in simply another round of exploitation. Pete, Tom, and Mike are greatly missed. They were fantastic musicians and Pete and Tom were just getting started as songwriters. Folks, suicide is never the answer.

I loved Badfinger when they were a new Beatles/Apple Records "find" in the late 60s. Somehow I thought the Beatles were actually involved in their music it was so good. It took the Breaking Bad finale to set me right back in that time. I am a guitar player, not that great but have been at it many years. I am going to try to learn this one. This is a wonderful cover of the song!!!

I’m Welsh. I knew about Badfinger in 1991 as a record fare loving kid. I had these records due to my love of PowerPop and the fact they were Welsh and my uncle and father talked about them since I asked who they were when looking inside the Man album with the map of Wales with all the bands on the scene.
