Incredible race, Wes. Those downhill sections were nuts! Great video once again.

This video makes me want to enjoy and endure the journey of a 50 miler trail race! I ran 56 miles on a mostly flat course (self supported) but yet, I can only imagine what it's like doing a run like yours. Great job, way to finish, and thank you for taking us along the journey!

The 50Ms out here in the PNW get some vert! But they're beautiful and rewarding. Thanks for watching!

Great video. Gave me flashbacks. I was out there doing the 100 miler. It's a tough and underrated course but the weather was perfect. Looks like we both got it done though.

@@wplate Went OK - not my best, not my worse. I just posted it on my channel if curious. The climb up McBee flared up my Achilles real bad - it's been a recurring issue lately - and some sleep walking. But overall, it was a nice race!

Thanks Aaron. This race is a good one, and early in the year makes it a useful for training. I normally don't re-run races, but I may have to do this one again. Thanks for watching my friend!

I run the Orchard aid station, thanks so much for some good video of what the jeep trails look like on either side of it. I've always been told they're tough, and yeah... that looks gnarly.

Haha sugar sand on an uphill...haha ya its gonna freaking zap those legs. I know, I live in central Florida and WAS into triathlon til my son showed up. Coming out of the swim with your HR maxed and then try to rum up a beach to transition...yuk. Ive been enjoying your videos for a while now so please keep it up. I think its time for me to slow down and possibly go longer and this is definitely pushing me that way IF I can check my dang ego and roll slower
