The Tory party support UK farmers cull of our badger population. 230,000 have been murdered to date. How could they do that to this beautiful creature. Oh yes, it costs too much to inoculate cows and too difficult with badgers. Cheapskate, lazy people! The Tories lost my vote. What a little garburater! He can pack it away. Seems to be a BIG fan of walnuts lol. He's not stupid though. They probably have the highest fat content of anything else on that table, aside from maybe those millet or suet balls, (I think that's what those are). Trying to fatten up before the winter hits. What a great video.

Doubtful. It’s common for some animals to gorge themselves in the wild if they get an opportunity to eat undisturbed. They may not get to eat again for some time, and they know it. But being in an urban setting, some critters like this badger, who live near towns/cities, also know that some people place edibles out in their yards (bags of garbage, pet food, bird feeders, compost piles). The urban animals just need to figure out the best time to visit certain yards and they may have a meal. I will say that after watching a lot of nature documentaries, it seems most common for carnivores and omnivores to gorge themselves given an opportunity; meat is a prized meal as it takes lots of energy to procure, and some fruits, nuts, or other vegetation are seasonal. Grazing animals don’t often have to work too hard to find their food.
