so my dad was cleaning his garage and found an old paintball gun from when i was a kid. it seems that there was a break in it and the bolt is covered in old paint. whats the best way to clean all this out?

Warm Water and/or WD-40. If you use WD-40, be sure to dry any excess. Because the solvents in WD-40 eat away at rubber orings.
