i think what makes them perfect is the character. To be honest, people think Kevin is better than Marcus because he is more creative and they always cheer and compliment Kevin more. What makes them perfect is that Marcus is very very humble as a person. He doesnt seem to be envious at all that his partner is more famous than him.

Friska Salim Why should Marcus be envious of his partner for being more famous? To be honest, I don't see why people keep comparing them while saying Gideon is the better one or why Kevin gets more compliments than Marcus. Really, I don't think Marcus or Kevin cares, who actually cares who is more popular? You are the one who said Kevin was more famous than Marcus. People are awed (who isn't?) by Kevin's special TALENT which no other player has and probably one in a thousands. Of course people make a big fuss out of HIS TALENT and HIS SKILL like people would with Lin Dan. Even Marcus himself acknowledges Kevin's talent and knowing his own limits and strengths, he in his ways is working hard to keep up with his partner not to be left behind. To try to outshine Kevin in many ways is futile, and I don't think he cares what people think. As long as they achieve everything together, what should he or we worry about who is better or who compliments whom? They both have the same titles and the same honors. In fact, Marcus has more titles than Kevin (to Kevin, winning record matters). But they are both humble and modest. They know they wouldn't have gotten this far without each other. Even Marcus said he knew Kevin had more girl fans but he didn't mind and he joked about it saying that he was sure it was because of Kevin's status as being still single. Of course there would be no Gideon/Sukamuljo without the two of them. But honestly when you first saw them playing, how many of you wouldn't be at least amazed by Kevin's talent?

Kevin's cockiness in the court he is such a determine and focus person, not snobbism. It just his character in his age right now, full of fire and high spirit. He's so playful and make badminton more entertaining. However, he's quite shy talking to camera or journalist; he is not comfortable to talk, often Marcus that talks more in public, Kevin let him speak. I saw it in couple of tv shows. Marcus is the yin of the yang side.They know it well, so that's why they can work together, compliment to each other.

The only PROBLEMS from these two are attitude and respecting opponent during gameplay. They are totally lack of attitude and respect of a true sportsmanship. Hard lesson to learn but they must learn somehow rather now or later. Karma is a bitch....!
