Badminton Net Kill - Forehand 2 versions and also the backhand version. The badminton net kill is very important to master to kill the shuttles at the net and score points. I cover the forehand version and also shows you the backhand version in this tutorial. The net kill forehand exercises can be where you throw to the net or multishuttle to the net. Go for the fast quick kill if you have time using fingerpower, or use the wiperblade move if you are close to the net.

afaik, if the racket hits the net, you lose a point. But if the ball hits the opponent’s court before the racket hits the net, then you get the point

Hi Thomas, quick question - where on your index finger to you feel the pressure in both variations?

Tricky to say where on the finger but try it yourself and add the power from many fingers at the same time.

@@BadmintonFamly For me feeling the pressure on the index finger really helps guide the movement and then tightening the other fingers adds the power. There's a trap I see many beginners fall into where they go too far to the panhandle and the handle falls into the V so the index finger can no longer play a part in the shot. With this they can ONLY apply finger power and only directly forwards i.e. they cannot brush across the shuttle.

I think your kills are going way too far in the mid court. Ideally the top players play a brush net kill that just lands near the net very steeply. That's my opinion.
