I would like this board if they did an optical version. For me the only reason to buy a Razer is the speed of their optical switches and the fantastic response time of their hardware. The only benefit to this board over the Huntsman Mini is the layout which honestly isn't a huge deal especially if you're a comp FPS player and simply want to click heads with as much efficiency as possible with no regard to acoustics or type-feel. I could understand the price point if the case was aluminum top mount or gasket mount but this release feels pretty tone-deaf with the NK65 Aluminum being near this price range and (although perhaps not the same form factor) things like GMMK Pro and Keychron's teased QMK 75% soon to be available.

That being said, I got mine for $50 (new). The batter isn't horrible, but it's nothing to scream about either -- roughly 3-4 days of constant use, but it's rechargeable. Overall, I really love it. My previous main was a Huntsman Elite, and while I LOVE that keyboard, the tactical feel and convenience made this an easy choice. I also love that it and my Naga Pro can share the same dongle with no issue.

I had massive problems with a Blackwidow board that constantly suffered double inputs for keys. Ever since that board, I have not been able to go back to them and went down the custom keyboard rabbit hole. Corsair boards have been much nicer for me, but then I bought a bunch of other peripherals from them that have been garbage, so now I'm back to looking at other companies yet again. Razer and Corsair also need to stop trying to push their garbage software that has to run in the background and instead just make a firmware flasher that can upload changes to your peripherals and then shut down. Ugh.

Probably bc of the plate,or the case itself is hollow
@giglioflex3 жыл бұрын
I actually have the Huntsman TE and just got in this new razer 65%. The Huntsman TE is way louder, not even comparable. The V3 65% is closer to the mini than the TE soundwise. IMO it strikes the perfect balance between dampening and feel of the keys. The Huntsman mini feels a bit too soft due to the dampening, the new razer 65% feels like a good balance between it. The stabs aren't that great though.
