Listen we all knew Inconsistent was meant for Odens Eye before you even got there 😂 I love those singles (the price point is unbeatable for the regular ones) but you definitely have to be a bit picky. I’m sooo tempted to get Jade even tho everyone says it’s almost unusable but my dumb dumb brain wants to touch it for myself 😂

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve just started using Indie eyeshadows ( Ensley Reign ) and I also have hooded eyes so this ranking is very useful. I can’t wait to receive the Light Scatters collection, it finally shipped today ( Canada Post workers are back to work after being on strike for a bit more than a month ). ❤❤❤

I really would have liked to hear comments on the new formula by Lethal Cosmetics. As this is now kept within the Avatar Collection and Spellcraft Palette, that are no longer being sold as singles, they can't be included in this ranking. It's strange that I've only heard a few speak up about the drier mattes and flakier shimmer formula via videos. I experienced the worst shadows ever from the Avatar Collection that literally fell from my eyes and some arrived completely broken. As they are no longer making their shadows in Germany, they have become more like Oden's Eye instead. I'd love to know if anyone else is noticing this difference in formula and how they feel about this compared to the older formula from the Pure Metals and Multichromes previously.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨 PS. Thank goodness that Clionadh are back to shipping!

I don’t have the Avatar palettes not the Spellcraft palettes but from what I’ve seen they did seem to have added a flakier texture to their shimmer shadow variety. Curious to see if they keep it for future new palettes

@@krisushi1 so what's really interesting is, I was helping a friend find manufacturers of eyeshadow. Both singles & palettes. One of the manufacturers I had in my list has a yt channel & on their channel there are (or were) at least two vids where you can clearly see they are manufacturing lethals shadows. It's a Chinese brand, that's all I can remember off the top of my head. My friend reached out to the brand to inquire about this & the manufacturer claimed they didn't know what brand they were talking about. My guess is there are confidentiality clauses etc... But we both thought it was interesting that lethal seemed to switch to a Chinese manufacturer but never really mentioned it. *edited to add, I was helping a friend who is starting an indie makeup brand

@@Dinozzzaur From Lethal themselves. They also quickly mentioned this on one of their videos about a previous launch. Not sure if every single product will be made in China now, it may be only the eye-shadows that have become in to higher a demand for them to keep up with. Just not liking this new formula at all.💖

@@badtothebrow They told me that they couldn't keep up with the high demand for the shadows in particular and have out-sourced these to China. They may still create some products themselves, but it won't be shadows. So sad after I have collected the entire range of palettes and singles released.💖

Great idea! Tm & clionadh are my tippety tops, then devinah. I love sbsd but that super dry squeaky formula drives me craaaaazy 😅 *oe shimmers in palettes tend to hardpan on me too. 😢

I'm not a fan of SBSD's dry formula either so glad I'm not the only one. I ended up selling all of mine bc I never wanted to use them and yea I have issues with OE as well with hard panning or being squishy to where they evaporate once on my lids even with glitter glue

@@blendofdays 🤣 I've tried very hard to love them too. They make really pretty eyeshadows and I had some faves like break of dawn but I just couldn't get past the texture either 😔

@@kris10x88 Milly actually suggested to me to try using them with brush only so I wouldn't have to touch them with my fingers... But I like using my fingers to apply shimmers. I also always apply iridescent eyeshadow as highlight with a finger. My two all time favs from sbsd are 'so sweet' & ice blink. The reserve collection is still such a masterpiece after all these years too & of COURSE I've been eyeing the collection Milly ranked the highest. I won't do it though. I refuse to let myself. 💀😏

I trust your multichrome reviews above all others so it’s great to have this guide to “the best of the best.” On that note, I received my Light Scatters palette last week and all I can is wow 🤩 The super smooth and lightweight formulas you and Clionadh created are indeed among the “best of the best” in my collection. @@morbikdon5245Not too sheer IMO. They are a versatile formula that allows them to look good applied sheerly or applied to full opacity. The formula is very consistent with the Clionadh stained glass shadows.

I have to say I have big problems with shimmers from Odenseye hardpanning but just in the palettes, not the singles, like some even with the first swatch. I have a hardpan shade in every single Odenseye palette I own. My favourite singles formulations are Terra Moons and Glaminatrix shimmers

I have ordered a few times from them and they’re one of my faves. They’ve definitely improved a lot. I just got like 5 singles recently and they are stunning. (I got nebula, sphinx holo, nightskies kaleidoscope, UR the worst and not your baby) I would put them up there with Terra moons and touch of glam. Downside though is it takes like 4 months to get an order.

I still don't understand the love for Oden's Eye. Any time I try them, they're just OKAY bet best. I get more consistency with other brands and they somehow put a weird mustard or chartreuse in every palette and I refuse to buy a palette with the swamp yellows and greens

Oof Harpy from BBB is the worst single shadow I've ever used. Can't even swatch it. It's so flaky. It's not even usable. Comes out of the pan like shards. Has anyone else had this issue?? Edit.. if you know a way to make this shadow work... please let me know. I was so sad I couldn't even see any pigmentation from the flakes I could get to grip to my finger and brush.
