For those of you who aren't reading the material source , the anime adapted only the first book which is something i have never seen . The genre is fantasy mystery which is something i have never experienced because everyone is strong but it is psychological warfar . If you have time to read 4 pages , please read the prologue of book 2 , i am sure you will love it.

@@siorai2089 go ahead and watch the anime and then switch to the book. The reason is the book 1 is mostly about adlet screaming he is a hero! I will tell you this: the beginning of book 2 is super strong Edit: i rewatched the anime last year and went for the books.

I'm loving these comments that say the anime and/or ending was shit. This is just the first of the series, so read the light novels to see what happens next! "But light novels are shit, they're too short" then don't complain you hypocrites! Read the books if you think the ending was so bad, you'll quickly be corrected! I thought the anime was beautiful in both animation and interpreting the first novel of the series. All the characters are very lovable with strong personalities and backstories, unlike most anime that give all the spotlight to a select few and then ignore the rest of the characters. It's a shame this anime gets so much hate because the second book was so emotional and it just kept getting better. I'm currently on the 5th of 6 books and the story has never let me down for even a second! Take that as your recommendation for those debating!

+Vlad I wouldn't knock them that bad; you know there are clearly worse products out there. +Trippin The production company only ordered 1 season & there was a poor reception to the series in the East. Plus poor sales from the anime has ended its chances from gaining a season 2. (despite it actually being pretty solid with a decent story, call me a sucker for mystery/thriller/fantasy). There's somebody who translated the light novel somewhere online (i.e. you'll have to READ it). Don't know if it got a manga release. I'll let you do the homework.
