The director of the orphanage seol ah was bought up in was a complete monster and was involved in the shady bone marrow business he never used to give the kids proper food and used to beat the kids and make them work if they and used to eat all the money he got to support the kids by himself. When seol ah's adoption was dissolved and she returned to Korea she saw the kids eating dog food and she was concerned for them so she asked the director why isn't he giving them proper food and then the man started talking shit about her and asked seol ah to turn the ownership of the apartment seol ah had in bosong village on his name as he had bought her up and she should pay him back as he "deserves " it when seol ah refuses he tries to hit the kids so seol ah shields the kids and saves them.
