I believe the main problem is that the companies generally push kpop artists to be flirty with their fans. There is a lot of sexual behaviour towards their audience. Even direct flirts at times, so called "fan service". I can imagine it being easy to fall into these traps if you're... I don't know how to put this, mentally troubled? Or just delulu for short, lol. Move on. its been what 9 years ? Let Baek live without including her name with him. Let Tae live her life without including his name. Let they live their life peacefully without bringing their past. Im sure most of us here know how much hate they received at that time. Baek missing on ig more than a year and half, he post an apology letter saying its misunderstanding but he received more hate and delete it. Tae also cried at airport. Its a traumatic for them so please move on and let them live in peace. If they are together then they are if not then not.

I am a fan of Taeyeon. When the news about them dating broke out, i wanted to like them together but couldnt. I watched Baekhyun's videos (or rather Exo's videos) to learn more about him. I then found that his personality (or what he potrait on tv) was rather silly, playful, loud, clumsy and needy which is quite contrast from TY who is rather composed, introverted and calm. But then i wonder if those are also Baekhyun's true personality behind the camera. Well u know, sometimes the agency would "assign" roles to idols-one needs to act silly, loud, while other needs to act matured etc. I always thought TY would like a man who is calm, manly and reserve. Wonder what catched her attention when she fell for BY. Oh yes, besides his wonderful vocal ability.

Baekhyun is actually really introverted, composed and calm is moyst situations but like you said sometimes companies assign their idols some roles to play and Baekhyun happens to be selected for goofy character. You see it at the start of their career when they were tasked to be MC, Baekhyun was always trying a bit 'too hard' to be funny. Even Exo members said in later years that Baekhyun act goofy but he's actually really 'manly' means he's a really persistent and rational guy. We can see how most Exo members were crying in 2017 mama awards because of the unfairness they received but Baekhyun remained strong and cheered up the remaining Exo-Ls that were left in the show and even for those who got injured. The only problem is that after all the issues in 2014 he totally chose to embrace his stage personality cause that's the path he chose in the end (his career). I just hope both Tayeon and Baekhyun have found peace now and that fans of both fandoms have matured up.

@@Tooba-K123 hi...thanks for replying and giving details about Baekhyun. Exactly what i thought of him-he was actually being assigned to act playful and goofy. During those hard days for Taeyeon when the dating news broke up, i felt sad for Taeyeon. I blame those extreme Exo-Ls. Those online bullying was rather mean..when they broke up, i am glad in a way that Taeyeon was no longer a target. I hope they are both happy now choosing a different path

@@ELISEAlyssa18 you're most welcome. I personally think Tayeon and Baekhyun would have made a great couple but it was just a bad timing for both of them. Exo had only debuted for 2 years so their fans were mostly teenagers hence they did not deal well with the news. Not to mention the whole controversy involving Exo-M leaving and girls generation's dating rumors throughout that whole year along with Jessica leaving. SM also was having disputes with TXVQ (JYJ) and Super Junior contracts and also Sulli being in a relationship with Choiza and then her and her departure from F(x). All in all 2014 was a really bad year for all SM artists.

New EXOLs don’t know the dramatic consequences of SM back then.Kri* left EXO, Taeyeon’s dating rumors with a senior and rude behaviors, Baekhyun cursing badlychat screenshots.SM is planning for Tae’s Solo debut at that time and I mean the couple was hated not for dating but for their individual rumors.Both side of K fans hate them because both side think their idols are used for covering bad rumors.I am EXOL and Taeyeon is my bias in SNSD. And I want them to be happy even if the dating was real or not.
