Oh god....I feel like Hajime is always returning to leave Nagito with an even more broken heart. I didn't quite get much of the true story but it looks like Nagito vanished from this world, leaving the new Hajime alone now. Idk I just cried a river :____:

Yaoilover Studio Here are my insights on this *casually types while weeping* It's similar to the Legend of the White Snake but here Nagito is a snake kami or yokai that falls in love with Hajime but because of misfortune (( somewhat canon Luck Talent)) this leads Hajime to an inevitable fate of death. This caused Nagito grief over the years until Hajime is reincarnated so he can come back to his lover(?) they were happy but it still ends the same sad fate of Hajime dying. in the 3rd(?) reincarnation with Izuru, it's where Nagito realized he was the one bringing misfortune to his life. So he decided to vanish so Hajime would continue to live, he leaves a memento to remember him. *ahem* Sad ain't it? but that's what I noticed aaaaa sorry for my bad english >

You're English is perfectly fine don't worry :) Yeah similar to the original it's a sad fact that Hajime disappears and is replaced by Izuru but thanks for clearing it up, I was wondering why Izuru suddenly appeared. I didn't know about the tale so I'll look into that~ Even in a fanvideo KomaHina suffers ;_; ( either because Nagito died in the game or Izuru replaced the old Hajime )...this is just unfair, why am I shipping something that ends in sadness?!

Yaoilover Studio Yeah i still don't get the Izuru part because It's implied the 2nd Hajime died also based on Nagito's reaction to it, so maybe this Izuru is Hajime ((prior to the tragedy?)) So yeah there's no ship without any angst-- I mean possible but seriously I'm about to pour liquid salt on my pillows on this It's too much--

Drae Icee From what i've understand this is the Yokai AU and basically Hajime Dies repeatively and Komaeda is forced to watch it happen. So he leaves Hajime to make sure it doesn't happen again. Its really heartbreaking. 😢
