Well, on the concept of the "super hero" yes, there's obviously inspiration from old myths, like the greek heroes, or in supermans case, moses. But there's also a huge influence from Pulp heroes. Fantasy, sci-fi and wild west stuff: -Superman was greatly influenced by "john carter from mars" a man that's transported to mars and it's super strong and can jump super high because of the lower gravity -Similarly, batman was influenced by zorro. A rich man that at night wears a mask and fights to correct the injustices of the world This type of heroes began popping out around the 1800 in novels like the scarlet pimpernel and tarzan

02:04:29 I think there is a bug with that particular torch. It seems to not decrease in size (beam width) along with torch level while the coach is shown driving. Look at the timestamp - you get a very brief flash of 12 torch level with a very dim torch at the top of the screen. Once it cuts to the coach, the beam is all the way across as if the torch was maxed out.

Very late to the convo about easy dinners but here's mine: Chop an onion, a carrot (in tiny pieces) and 3 cloves of garlic. Cook in some olive oil for about 5 minutes. After that out in a can of chickpeas and a can of chopped tomatoes. Fill the tomato can half with water and add to the mixture together with a veggie bouillon cube. Some dried oregano on top and stir. Let it cook, put it on half heat and let simmer (without lid) for 8 minutes. Stir occasionally. After that put the zest from a whole lemon on top, the juice of 1 lemon and some dill. Stir until mixed and finally add a block of feta cheese. Take it off the stove and serve with rice. Bon appetit!

2:03:57 As someone who used to work in a place where they refill propane tanks, I was also weirldly prepared for a time when everything in that area just blows the hell up. A little bit of paranoia from time to time could also save lives.

its in her antagonist path only via The Boot and disengage that stuns and blinds and only small effect on wander version The Boot for extra knockback.

I've been thinking the same thing. It'd be cool if Flick (for example) gave a Vulnerable or Blind on combo depending on Stance, or something at least

I'm very confused. You had a team with high relationship and picked bounty hunter negating possible positive relationship buffs with a stiff (no movement) bounty hunter.

Hearing Baer ask about the origins of superheroes reminds me oddly of a very specific thing I remember watching with Stan Lee as a guest. IIRC a lot of superheroes kinda just happened because of WW1, like people were depressed after just having gone through that, so comics tried to pick up the morale. I do know Captain America specifically came into being during WW2 to get people into kicking fascist ass. We do have stories like Achilles, Hercules, and the Odyssey, but Achilles was just a regular dude who got his gift because his mother was over protective, Odysseus is just a wise general guy, and Hercules I guess would be the closest to the first true superhero despite being a demigod bastard of Zeus and his trials being attempts by Hera to get him killed.

A throphy that gives some good boons, but makes all remaining regions 30-50% longer, or if obtained at the last regiond before the MT, one extra region has to bee completed.

My parents dog Remy, he was just over for a visit. He's 5-6, I believe. And a very good boy. Unless he sees/hears anything outside, then he loses his mind.

Hold up, the Helion definitely doesn't wield a glaive, does she? I always thought it was a bardiche based on the design and the way she wields it. If we're still assigning viewer names to enemies I'd like to be the goat.
