I love the content, because as far as I searched for, it is pretty unique in youtube. I think everybody would appreciate examples of these reactions being used in real world

I've had this question over chemistry for a while now. Do chemists memorize the reaction? (Or look them up in a pre-made table) or can they rationalize the reaction? For example, Nitrogen a Carbon react, but if I didn't told you they where caron and nitrogen but gave you their properties, would you be able to deduce they will react? (not necesarely how, but at least that they will?)

I've been at home a LOT not working the last few weeks. After unsuccessfully attempting to enlighten some conspiracy theorists (particularly on the subject of vaccines and around HighImpactVlog's channel) I'm more certain than ever: "it is difficult to win an argument with an intelligent person, but it is impossible to win an argument with an idiot. Any further debate with the Hovinds and their followers would be purely for entertainment purposes. Sure it's funny but at a certain point you're just beating your head against the wall.

@Smattless Yeah! We want entertainment and comedy gold! What's wrong with that? Also, you're generalizing people that have common sense because one of them asked for a piece of entertainment and/or a suggestion. You are making stereotypes.

nice video! I'm just a little bit irritated because when looking at the pKas of peroxyacids (~ 7 - 8) and ketones (~ -7 - -8) the protonation of the carbonyl seems heavily unlikely. So the separation of the oxygen atoms in the unstable O-O-bond must be the driving force, correct?
