we had friends that were really poor. i mean we were broke as kids. ya know like a weekend without electricity because payday was friday after the office closed. but these ppl were even poorer than that. they used canned milk in cereal. pour a little from the can then added water. it was so nasty but i ate it because i was a guest and i was brought up right.

I havent tried dried milk but I do know my favorite nestle sugar free french vanilla creamer does come in dry. ☕I screamed Vivan says we gotta be prepared for doomsday hurricane nekkid and afraid it's good till 2022.Husband asked who's Vivian? When I was a kid, a zillion years ago before SwissMiss instant cocoa came out, my mom used to make her own instant hit cocoa. She mixed powdered milk, cocoa, and powdered sugar, I dont remember the measurements but she'd mix all the powders together and keep in an big ads Tupperware (yes, actual Tupperware, this was the 60's LOL) anyway, when it got cold we had easy hot cocoa, just mix that stuff with hot water and you're golden

Think it was a cup of powdered milk, 1/2 cup cocoa 1/2 cup sugar. In the 70's my church youth group would make it and then sell it.

Vivian there is a site called shopmissa and they have those soap sheets for a buck!! You need to go check that site out girl. They have some cool stuff all for a dollar or a little more. If it's more its bc that 59 cents or whatever little bit extra goes to charity. You should do a vid with stuff on that site ,but stick to the AOA brand stuff. It is their inhouse brand and I've always had good luck with it, as do most people I've heard shopping from there. 😁💜

Totally agree. Still can't stand. As a 70-year-old, I don't care if I save on milk. My mom raised 6 kids, and didn't mix real milk with the powdered. She tried to disguise the flavor, but we always felt betrayed.

Hey Vivian try this with the powder milk: make a glass of it. Stir in a little bit of chocolate syrup. Then stir in some PBFit with chocolate flavor. It's thick and so yummy!!

We use freeze dried milk all the time. Got tired of throwing out milk. We buy it in a larger bag, freeze it, and I mix it up when needed We don't eat cereal so we don't need the regular stuff. It tastes just fine! My best to you. I just subscribed. Holly from PA.

Dollarama here in Canada sell that soap for a couple of bucks..( used to be a buck) Also compact towels/face clothes. You should look for the compact towel thingys. They open up to a surprisingly good size. Stick some in your bugout bags. . I also keep one of each in my first aid kit!

My family uses the soap sheets while traveling/camping and I love them! They’re so convenient. I buy them super cheap.i dissolve them in a rag/wash cloth. Two sheets is plenty to scrub your body.

Ohhh yes, we had to use dried milk a lot when my kids were little, we were broke a lot, lol. We use to mix it half and half with a jug of milk, wasn't great but better than nothing. You can cook with dried milk a lot, too. And once the soap sheets are gone you can carry a little bar of soap in the case.
