Hey, Jerm, thanks so much for sharing. Last week in our monthly meeting (NUDGA) we talked a little about being a Brand Snob. I'm a 71 yo newish player. My up shots are my Shark and Dart. I do throw a River, Prodiscus, Judge. The rest.are Innova. I'm now wanting a few, well at least 2 P2's. Yesterday we had a clinic with Kade. The young man helped me a lot!

Jerm is definitely one of my favorite pros to follow, guy is just so amazing and I feel like I really would enjoy just hanging out with him and try to gather as much info as I can about disc golf, he and Sexton are definitely biggest ambassadors of disc golf.. sure McBeast and Ricky and the power double Simon and Eagle are good for the sport but the combined experience and video appeal is what makes Jerm and Sexton stood out for me. And I from finland so Seppo Paju is definitely my favorite player of PROs but still, big sexy is the most important duo of disc golf for beginner like me!

@caseywrightsel42776 жыл бұрын
Mike phaneuf that’s why they take their made putts out on tournaments before the next putt is attempted because if you chain down right on top of the top of another putter it bounces up and jumps. If you watch the replay you can see it bounces right off the center portion of the other putter already inside the basket. It happens to me all the time with my mcpros when I’m putting 10 at a time at home you’ll see a lot of bounce outs

I’ve never really understood the allure of the Thunderbird. I don’t see why you can’t just stick with a good trusty seasoned firebird, teebird, or wraith in champ or star.
@holychiodos6 жыл бұрын
Not everyone has a seasoned firebird so they are typically too overstable out of the box. Teebirds can be too slow and understable for some faster arms. Wraiths have a bit more high speed turn compared to the thunderbird so they don't fit the same shot either.
@gg51156 жыл бұрын
A Firebird dumps at the end of the flight. Wraith and Teebird are less stable. A Thunderbird has a stability like a Firebird but glides out further on the hyzer finish. It acts very much like a Destroyer. And like a Destroyer, you can throw it as hard as you want.
@SeaOrcRonnie6 жыл бұрын
I've been playing a long time and thrown a lot of plastic. I stick by my statement.
@fr.andygutierrez53566 жыл бұрын
I can definitely get more straight distance in a headwind with my Thunderbird than with a seasoned Firebird. They also don’t dump as hard, and so I bag both. In any case, everybody is going to throw whatever works for them :)
@zanemazon30606 жыл бұрын

Yes. At ledgestone you were extremely weird and awkward towards my arab friend when he politely asked you to sign his big jerm thunderbird. Idk if you were having a bad day but we all thought you were legitimately scared of him. It made the rest of us not bother asking you for an autograph.
@bigjermdg6 жыл бұрын
To be quite honest I don't even really know how to respond to this comment. I don't remember this encounter at all so all I can do is speak in terms of generalities. It concerns me that anyone would assume that his ethnicity had anything to do with my interaction with this fan. I am truly sorry for that unfortunate misunderstanding. I have no idea what exactly was going on at the moment your friend approached me for an autograph but I can assure you 100% that my attitude at that moment was not at ALL a reflection of your friend's physical appearance. It feels a bit silly that I'm choosing to get on the defensive here but I think anyone who knows me personally knows that I appreciate and respect people of all genders, backgrounds and nationalities.
@mateogalvan6 жыл бұрын
It was weird to us as well because he waited for you to finish your conversation with ricky and the women he was working his booth with. Thanks for the response.
