It is neither right nor wrong to call her the eighth form of Ma Kali but it is inaccurate :) Worship her as herself and not as a roop, form or an avatar. There is never any need to relate one goddess to another or one of the mahavidyas as a form. I personally found that she granted me relief when I was in some trouble. I don't know how but right around that time I found myself near Sameli and have gone there several times since.
